hi there... my friends have been commenting that i can be pretty brainy. i guess i am..no denying it... though i don't look like a typical nerd but once i open my mouth, people can tell that i have lots in my mind... hahahaha... and one of those geeky things that i enjoy are crossword puzzles. it gives me thrills and can make me spend hours and hours just simply answering crossword puzzles. i have friends who find it weird that i like it... hehehehe... how about you?

If you call yourself a geek by enjoying crossword puzzles. Then I'm more geek than you. LOL. I just don't enjoy crossword puzzles, I love doing it. LOL. And what about Sudoku? I love solving it too. Actually, I even buy Sudoku books and Puzzles. And don't worry friend. There's nothing wrong by enjoying this, it enhances our vocabulary skills. And as for Sudoku, it enhances my mathematical abilities. Happy solving. hahaha. HUGZ!

hi there friend, well, unlike you, i dont like Sudoku... hahahaha... you and my brother are alike. but what i like are word games.... LOL... anything like scrabble, texttwist, hangaroo... bookworm, etc. etc. i agree with enhancing our vocabulary skills and our ability to think clearly.... happy mylottng!!!!! ~ Shiloh :-D

I have been doing crossword puzzles since I was in grade school. It's one of those things I really love doing. It sharpens my vocabulary. I often buy crossword booklets that I can answer in a few days during my vacant time. I also answer the crossword puzzles in the newspaper delivered to our office everyday. There are even times when I would feel bad when I do not get to complete the puzzle.

hi there.. thanks for the reply. nice to hear that!!! yes, i also feel bad if i cannot complete the puzzle and i feel frustrated and can't think about anything until i get it right. or i would simply crumple the cut out from the newspaper and toss it into the garbage... hahahaha... so it won't bother me again.. I've always liked crossword puzzles because I've always liked words. I used to spend hours doing the crossword puzzle in the Sunday paper and used to buy those little puzzle books, too. I don't think it makes you a nerd because you like to exercise your mind and increase your vocabulary.

I love them too and brainteasers. Me and my boyfriend used to live abotu an hour out of where we had to commute everyday and ont he drive home I'd read them to him and he'd help me. It was a fun relaxing way to pass the time.
