Why do we flirt? is there a rule of do's and don'ts in flirting?

Nowadays,every young guy or girl flirts openly with one another.Once one of my cousin he remarked that he flirts with girls a lot in his college and added that it was a healthy, harmless flirt.Neither it affects him, nor the other person.What do you have to say about it?

Hi brisk123, teir is no rule of do's and don'ts in flisrting we can do any thning and upto any extent as far as our paretner to whom we flisrting likes it and dinot get hurted from it.every thing is fair in love and flirt. what do you say?
