should "BEST RESPONSES" get extra credit?

I have been a myLot delinquent for a long time. I wasn't able to participate in the discussions much less start or create my own discussion for almost 3 months now. Well, I have an alibi... I am doing other online money-making scheme that pays more than doing the discussions here. But don't get me wrong, I still love myLot because I met a lot of nice people here. And somehow my old discussions received some nice comments even if I am not working at all.
And what really makes me feel good about myLot and some of the comments I made for other people's discussion is that... I DO GET BEST RESPONSES too. The only thing I am sad about it though... is that there is no credit for receiving the Best Response. I mean... what the heck? I know for a fact that myLotters get credit for participating in the dicussion. But we also know that there are lots of myLotters who just make a "comment" just for the sake of earning credit. There are lots of people here who would just write one sentence and worse not even relevant to the subject matter. You see, there are also some people here who would really squeeze their brain out just to come up with good ideas, solutions, suggestions and even advices and prayers to some good discussions here. And they get just as much credit as the one who wrote a one-liner?
Well, the Best Response is really a nice thing to receive because it gives the person a sense of pride. But I think if the person will get some credit for getting the Best Response is better. Don't you think so? I think it will be a good motivation for people like me to be active again in this network. After all, this is indeed a good forum site.
Regards to all my friends here... I miss you guys.

HMM. that is a good thing but I think that has a lot of disadvantages too, members can just to a multiple account and post response to themselves and pick as a best response .. not unless mylot will consider this and put some software that can detect this kind of scum.

yeah me too. actually this lay out is a bit hard to get the hang of it. When I also came back for a long hiatus I was so bewildered to how and what happen to the site. I'm not that motivated too but there is still something in me that keeps me from coming back to this site.

I think that is one factor too. Actually I joined other site that can also pay more by just writing review like with the reviewstream.com and I can get 50 usd in just a short time unlike here.
But i think mylot has something that allure me and one thing is that this is the first site that paid me and motivated me to earn more online.

I guess they can come up with good solution for this. They always do. Honestly, when i made this discussion i was having a hard time because everything was new to me again, the lay-out everything. I've really been away for so long but not motivated enough to really be as active as i was before.

I feel mylot does credit for each and every activity we do here.. I mean for each and every single thing like... starting a discussion, rating people, responding to discussions, commenting, uploading photos, and for our best responses too...
Mylot has its earnings algorithm very clear.... it is evaluating our earning on our ratings also... And i feel when someone gets a best response his/her rating or rank increases.. and that credits his earning...
Nice discussion.......
Keep posting on mylot.....^_^

I don't think so. For commenting... yes, that I know for sure. For making the discussion yes, but not that much. Yes also for making a referral and some earnings from the referral's earning too but I cannot count on it. But for each and everything... I know they don't. Why? because I made an experiment. I tried one day giving 20 comments to 20 different discussions. I did made money about 1$ or more. The next day I only replied to all the comments made in my discussion (more than 40 replies)... I made less than a dollar. Then, the third day I only did 10 discussions... I made not much too. Then I stopped. I totally stopped doing anything at all here and my earnings was $4.82 and that was in May 26. That was the last time I did any activity here in myLOt until now. And from May 26 till yesterday I received 5 Best Responses... And I checked my earnings out of curiousity... it was $4.83. I made only 1 cent from May 26 to August 14 and that 1 cent came from my referral's earning and not from Best Responses that is why I am VERY SURE that Best Responses is not giving me any credit here. I have proof that's why i made this discussion. THanks for your response anyway. I appreciate it. And I bet the replies I made for this discussion I stated will only make me few cents too.

Really? But sometimes, when I mark the best response from my comments i have to wait a few days more to see if there would be more comments coming that might be more interesting to give other people a chance too. And it goes the same thing with the Best Responses I get from other people too... sometimes i already forget all about it when all of a sudden i get the message that i got a best response from the comment i made more than a month ago. thanks for the response anyway.

Welcome back, Ruthie!! I'm so happy to see you again. I am with you 100% on giving additional credits to the best responses. It would be an additional perk for the users who post with wit. It also encourages the rest to make their posts more qualified than quantified. I hope mylot comes up with anything that addresses this matter one day. Perhaps $0.10 per best response won't be too much.
