Do you have a favorite household hint that you can share? I have many, but one of my favorites is for my knitwear and fleecewear. Pilling can really ruin a the look of any clothing item. It used to drive me crazy, but I found a way to get rid of the pilling without ruining the clothes. I use a plastic shaver. I have a few just lying around and even if it's dull, it's still works great on removing the pills from sweaters, hoodies and sweats.
Do you have a favorite houshold hint that helps you to save money?

I just used a hint I had heard about some time ago and it worked. We have a toilet that will not flush as well as it should, we also have septic tank so I can't use stronge stuff. The hint is to put a good amount of dish washing liquid
in and flush the toilet then let it sit overnight or as long as possible this is
to let the dish soap do it's thing, get up in the morning and flush. It worked for me of course I knew we didn't have a big obstructions. If you use this let me know how it works.
