Do you sometimes feel that,it would have been better if you were born as a "boy" and not a "girl" or vice versa?I do used to feel this when I was teenager,my parents are very strict.We are not allowed to go out much and attend late night parties etc.They used to tell us that we are girls and not boys, so girls have limitations.I used to feel bad and jealous at boys.What about you?

I do not have any regret about my gender because my Mother never been too hard on us either I am a woman or a Man in the house, All of us must have to follow my Mother's regulations.......we always tried not to make my Mother felt that we are a problem on her because we know that she is so tired already with what we experience in life......

Even I don't regret but sometimes when you wanted to do something and when they say this is not for you..it makes me go mad and then I started feeling why me?is it just because I am a girl?Your mother must have worked so hard to bring you all up.I am proud of her

I didn't like being a girl growing up. I grew up in the 60's and there were still a lot of attitudes about "a girl shouldn't be doing that or acting like that". Although I'm OK with being female now, in many ways my personality is more 'male'. I'm not a talker. When somebody brings a problem to me I want to try and solve it instead of just listening. etc.
