Even if I have my laptop plugged in to an outlet, it still won't charge. I have to jiggle the cord around until the "charging" light turns on and even then sometimes it goes off in about 5 minutes and my computer dies cause I'm getting no battery power. Anyone know what could be wrong?

i have a similar problem on one of my laptops, it is one of the wires inside the plug cable from the charger, that is broken and not enough current can pass through try another charger if you can get a friends with similar laptop.

Hi Mena,
Sounds like the internal connection is loose. I would not "Jiggle" the cord any longer as I believe then connection internally will eventully break.
Maybe you can bring it to a repair shop, have them check it, they can probably just resolder it.
If you keep "jiggling" it and it does in fact break, you will not be able to recharge at all. How old is the laptop? Usually 4 years batteries start to go, but it sounds like the jack. Try to get a quote on what it would cost to repair it!
Good luck. Hope this helps
