run cars on water

Im sure most people have heard about running cars on water. I am a believer. why havent we done it sooner in my opinion. i would love to buy an old car and try it out. has anyone ever rode in one or seen one on the streets in person? would you make one if you had the money? what about the government not letting the car manufatures make these years ago when they knew about this technology? what do you think? cyndi
