Me?? Of course, I love holidays... When I was still studying I really love holidays because it only means that NO CLASS so I have a day of to relax from the assignments, requirements, lessons, quiz, and most of all to hear a boring discussion of my teachers.. I also wish that everyday is a holiday so that there will be NO CLASS forever.. Even up to now that I am already working, I still love holidays because the company that I am working there is NO JOB DURING HOLIDAYS.. Same as when I was a student, I also which that everyday is a HOLIDAY so that there is no work.. The reasons why I love holiday it is because I hate waking up early in the morning.. I am a kind of person who loves to sleep.. I can sleep for than 12 hours a day.. That is my hobbies..
What about you my friends?? Do you like HOLIDAYS?? You are all welcome to share your thoughts and experiences here in my discussion...
Have a great Day! Happy posting...

I have always enjoyed holidays and throughout my life have found it interesting to visit and see new places. I had holidays with my family when I was a child to seaside destinations mostly and we went there by car sometimes and at other times by train. I used to love making sand castles and paddling in the sea. In those days I braved the cold sea water. I used to hold my globe and say that when I was grown up I would travel the world.
That dream of mine came true. I saved up the money from my paper round to go to Greece when I was 14 years old. That was my first overseas holiday and my first time on a plane. Since then I have traveled when ever I have had the time and money to do so. My longest trip happened when I was 20 and I spent just over one year traveling around the world. Then when I was 30 I took a trip to a few months and went to New Zealand via the Pacific Islands.
My favorite countries that I have been to so far are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, the Seychelles and Belize. When I am holiday I like to have an adventure and I get up early in the morning to get out and go exploring. I like to meet the local people, find out about their culture, see superb scenery and watch the native wildlife. When I was a student I rushed off overseas as soon as the semester ended. I got flights outside peak season that way, perfect.

Wow! You really spend a happy and tiresome holidays.. I hope I can also travel around the world.. When I was a kid, I really want to go to different places and learn their cultures.. But now I am already 20 still, I stayed in one country.. Well, I guess it will be just a dream.. It is hard to earn money here especially now that everything is getting expensive.. My salary isn't enough if I will travel around the world.. Maybe, I will save it for more than a year in order for me to fulfill that but only a few days and only for one place..
Thanks for sharing your experiences... I really love your holidays.. I think everyone love it..

Yup, I look forward to Holidays. Also, where I work, there are holidays exclusive to my work. At the start of the year, we remind the sales and marketing groups not to schedule anything on holidays so all the staff can enjoy it!

I love holidays! I share here on myLot the bizarre or off the beaten path holidays that I find. Like today was National Creamsicle Day.
My favorite major holiday is Christmas and then comes Thanksgiving. Which is your favorite.
I also do not work when there is a holiday since I am a substitute teacher. Our summer holiday/vacation is almost over. We start back to school on the 25th of August, I think I might have a week off before I start working, since most teachers don't call out sick right away.

Actually, all holidays I love it because NO WORk... Here in our country, the school starts 3 months ago that was months of June.. Our summer vacation are month of April and May.. By the way, is this your first time to be a substitute teacher? Actually, I graduated education course but I didn't continue my profession because I am not ready to be a teacher and I also don't want to teach..
Thanks for sharing.....

Just like you, i love holidays.. it's a break from all the pressures of assignments and exams.. actually, i'm currently having a break from school right now because our school is celebrating it's college fiesta.. i'm very happy because i can enjoy and have fun at this time.. what i really hate is that there are bunch of things to do when breaks are over since it's just short.. but i don't want to have holidays forever because i think i would get bored doing nothing.. i think what i really want would be enough time to enjoy and at the same time finish all the requirements so that when breaks are over, i have nothing to worry about..

I also remember when I was still studying... We also have our fiesta in our school or what they called "PALARO" for others school.. It is a one week of all funs and entertainment.. But some teachers are evil that they know that we have a week vacations, they will also give us a very long assignment or requirements... But of course, since my habit isn't good so I will make all of those things the day before the deadline.. I don't care if I can't sleep or I am stress out but what more important to me is to be with my friends and enjoy the whole week of fiesta.. And besides that is what the goal of the school..

That is true!!! We really love holidays!!! No classes for students, no work for employees!!! But for me, my work is under operations which means that we need to maintain the skeletal workforce. Instead of hating it i still love holidays because of an extra pay for it!!! Double pay for the holidays!!! Love it guys!!!

I agree with you.. Holidays are best especially for some employees who's working in a company that doesn't observe NO WORK during HOLIDAYS because even you still have your work at least you earn that day time two to your regular salary..
That is one of the best of having HOLIDAYS.. Thanks for sharing

Hi kissie, of course I love it, especially the long holidays . I always feel relaxed and comfortable during holidays. I could do whatever I like during holidays and don’t have to bother about the tedious work sitting in the confined place, and always looking at the clock hoping eagerly that the office hour is over very soon. There is totally no time restriction during holidays as there is no more time table that we have to follow strictly during our school days or working days. I enjoy the most during holidays is I don’t have to wake up early in the morning. I could live in my favorite own style.
posting and have a nice day.

I love holidays to. Even thoe there are so many diffrent ones. I love Christmas the most, I love the lights and decorations. Thanksgiving is great becuse we get to eat and not feel guilty! LOL Halloween is also fun. We grow pumpkins all summer long and carve them and decorate our yard then we go trunker treating. I think the best part of the holidays is my family and decorating our house.

Ofcourse I love holidays.. My favorite is Christmas where our family gets reunion. Unfortunately, when I was in college, We make up for the holidays, meaning if we dont have class for a certain holiday, definitely, there will be one on Saturday. Same with my job right now. Since its a US account, they dont honor holidays here in the Philippines. Tough luck for me

Everyone loves holidays. This is the time to unwind, relax and rest after a pressuring workload at office or tiring school activities. Now that I am working, holiday to me means restday or else, an additional increase on the salary of that day. For legal holidays, we have double payment, Special holidays will have additional 30%, and so on. So it is nice to have holidays always lol.

I think everyone favorite holiday is Christmas... I love Christmas because there are plenty of foods, and presents.. But of course what is truly more I love is to be with my family.. Though sometimes we are not complete especially now that I am far away from my parents.. I just hope that this Christmas still the same as before and of course would be the happiest Christmas..
