Will MTV become extinct?

With all of these computer based video broadcasting sites, will MTV lose alot of its viewer base. In actuality that is what MTV programming heavily rely on. Every other program is either a video countdown or a reality show, and we know that the only long standing reality show is COPS

Man, I hope so. MTV has gotten to be crazy over the past 8 years. I don't think you can call it a music station anymore. The first thing most people think about when they hear "MTV" is those stupid shows on there like The Hills. How does that fit in with music? It's sad to see the station turning into a teen soap opera network. And FUSE is really no different. It's either a countdown show on or they're playing movies.
