attempted suicide

i know somebody who slash her pulse because she want to get rid of her life. i was sudden to know about it. in my mind, i said that suicide is the worst thing that a person can do to oneself. its not the remedy for the problem. many people would trade their riches just to extend their life. i told that friend that you have the life ahead of you. please value your life. many people have more bigger problems than yours. ask God to help you through your problems. in every problem there is a solution. how about you, have you encountered a scenario like this?

no one can really tell what goes in the mind of a person who's all defenses run down. and we can never really judge those who grew so hopeless in life. i am convinced that those people in the brink of despair needs most understanding, compassion and love -- not ridicule or nonchalance. because i know, that's what ive been needing when i used to constantly slash my wrist or overdosed myself, to get rid of the pain -- i wanted to feel loved, understood and cared for.

Hi there. that's very disturbing. sometimes, people without hope won't have reasons for living or it could be a way for them to escape their problems. hopefully, someone will be able to let her see the error of her ways and point her to God, who's the Hope and Source of Life.

I don't think any one should judge someone who does this, as not understanding why just means you have not been to the brink, there is a saying 'you don't need a reason to kill yourself- you need a reason to live" There are times that any of us can be pushed to rock bottom, for the people who do not understand why then you have never been there...just my opinion...

well its really nice that you have raised this topic... well to my opinion, nobody has a right to take his or her own life because your values that you have gained all your life will vanish in a bit!! how can a person finshes his life of his own in a matter of seconds... the people who do such stuff lack will power for certain.. the wanna simply run away frm there life!! thts my viewpoint... i knw some cases are wworse but still you gonna fight for urself!!
