Im 18 and only recently discovered Rock you like a Hurricane (which I am addicted to), I am really impressed with Scorpions and am really into them.
I have tehse songs so far
1. Rock you Like a Hurricane
2. Hey You
3. Big City Nights
4. No One Like You
These are in order of preference as well....
I was just wondering if anyone could reccommend me anymore songs that I can get, as I would really like to hear more...? Thanks.

Scorpions ROCK!!!
i recommend the CD's "Animal Magnetism" and "Blackout"
Blackout is probably their best.
if you're lucky, and look around for it they have a concert DVD (i used to have it on VHS)
called "Scorpions-World Wide Live"
all these are older titles but with a little shopping around you should be able to find them.

Man I first listen to their song when I was 13. At that time they famous with Still Loving You from their newly release album at that time Love at First Sting. I like to hear their rock ballad song. I think I suggest you to listen their ballad song like Yellow Raven, We'll Burn the Sky, Kojo No Tsuki, Send Me an Angel, In Trance and many more ballad song from them.
If you like to listen heavy metal or hard rock, I'd like to suggest Metallica, Iron Maiden, Dio rather than Scorpions.

Hi
I haven't been on this site in a few years. As you can see, this is an old thread. Since then, I have bought numerous Scorpions albums. I also love Iron Maiden, and own nearly all Dio albums. I don't like Metallica and prefer Megadeth and early Anthrax over them.
Yellow Raven from Virgin Killer is an excellent song though I do prefer the title track and, Polar Nights.
Still Loving You is an excellent song too.

I have probably most - if not all - of their albums on CD's. They started off as two bands started one with Michael Schenker on guitar & Klaus Meine on vocals. At the same time, Michael's older brother, Rudolf, also had a band where he sang & played guitar. I'm not sure what happened to the two bands, but somehow, Michael, Rudolf, & Klaus ended up coming together to form the Scorpions, & wrote all their own material in English. They came out with an album, & then went on tour opening for UFO. I'm not sure what happened to UFO's guitarist, but he never showed up, & UFO borrowed Michael Schenker to carry on their show. Michael ended up leaving to join UFO. That one album, In Search of Peace Of Mind is a pretty good song.
The second album, Klaus & Rudy had to get all new people, & with ulrich Roth as their new lead guitarist, they released four albums. I think they were together (with a few changes with their bass player & drummer) for probably around 5 or 6 years. The end of the 1970's was a bit of a turmoil. After Ulrich left to start a solo career, & the band decided to change record labels. RCA Records released a live album & a Best of album. My favorites from this era happens to be We'll Burn The Sky, Fly To The Rainbow, Pictured life, & In Trance. There are many other good songs in which the names escape me.
In 1979, they recruited Matthias Jabbs to replace Ulrich Roth, & it has have been Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabbs, & Klaus Meine since then, & they probably released more music & albums than from the previous eras combined. It's tough to just name a few of their best ones, even from this era.
Overall, quite a few of their albums, I can listen to from the beginning of the first song to the end of the last one. In addition to that, Michael Schenker started a solo career (Michael Schenker Group - or MSG) in 1980, & you might just like a lot of his stuff. Same thing with Ulrich Roth (as Uli Jon Roth).

Try 'Blackout' and 'Love At First Sting' CD. Those are really classic Scorpions. And try the 'World Wide Live ' CD also. They had more ballad rock song during their peak era circa 80's and 90's.
