Donald Trump.. Landlord. Donald Trump will save Ed McMahon's mansion from foreclosure by buying it and leasing back to him. McMahon, 85, who was Johnny Carson's sidekick on the "Tonight" show for three decades, has not worked for about 18 months because of a neck injury. He defaulted on $4.8 million in mortgage loans with Countrywide Financial Corp.
Ever have a friend or family member bail you out of financial trouble?

Well, thats quite a friend to bail you out of $4.8 million dollar deficit. Thank goodness I've never had to borrow to that tune, but recently I was staying in a motel and my aunt came down from Colorado and helped me move into the apartment I have now. She paid all the deposits and first months rent. I couldn't be more grateful. She is one hell of a person and someone I admire greatly. As a matter of fact, she is coming for another visit next week and I can hardly wait.

No one has ever bailed me out of financial trouble. I'm quite happy to be able to say that. Some of my family has helped me at times, but never with plain gifts of money.

I guess it is really who your friends are maybe or it was done out of respect for him. I mean 85 years old he should have been sitting pretty for his retirement. evidently he didn't save much for his old age. But it is nice to know and be friends with some who have enough money to bail you out of trouble when needed. Yeah my mom, brother(on very rare occasions)But I have also helped them in return in more so then then they help me. My cousin also helps me a few times when I needed it.

I think that was real nice of Trump. He is a man that doesn't have to worry about money and that was something he wanted to do for the man. The mortgage was no joke and he would have been out of a home. But Trump came and saved the day. That was really cool of him.
