So what is your daily schedule??? Are you as scheduled as me? I can almost tell time by what I am doing. Weekends are reserved for shopping and family time. Every once in a while our daily schedule changes but for the most part it’s always the same. Do you ever get sick of it??? What do you do to change things up a bit???

We have a different routine every day, because every day is full of such different activities. I won't bore you with a week's worth, but basically my husband goes to work very early before we wake. My daughter and I get up at about 7am, have breakfast, shower, get dressed and then get stuck into the day. Usually we have somewhere we need to be at by 9am. Ideally, in the evening we have dinner at about 6:30pm or 7pm when my husband gets home from work, then I bath my daughter, read her a story and she is in bed by 8pm. Once she is in bed, I catch up with my husband and on any of my own work I need to do, watch some tv, do some extra housework, or play on the computer. I go to bed about midnight. This often gets disrupted though because often we go out or have friends visiting instead. On weekends we are very laid back so that we get some family time.

I understand that all too well!
I work Mon - Fri 8-4
He works Sun - Fri 3 to 11
So our time together is very limited. Him working six days a week makes it hard. The weekends are okay because we get Saturday and Sunday morning. I try to stay up and wait for him to get home during the week but then it makes for a long day for me.

I get up near 10 AM (ideally), I take meds and eat, do morning stuff (hair, teeth, pack purse). I post or write. I wait for the van if I'm going somewhere or walk to places in my town. Lately, I've been going to and writing about local events and vacations or so called "staycations", i.e people staying close to home, instead of traveling to combat gas prices. I generally do that or run errands until the afternoon. Then I sometimes will go out in the evening to an event as well. I'm always home by 10:30 (because that's when the buses stop to my town), accept on Sundays when they run later. I write then and go to bed around 12:30 or 1AM. Most days this is my life.

As much as I would like to stay home I rather go to work. I like having an out of the house job. I stayed home for about a year when my daguhter was born and that was nice but I like having the time out of the house. That sounds bad doesn't it LOL. Honestly me being out of the house helps me be more scheduled. When I was in the house all the time I put things off now I can't!

I work. I have three main jobs I'm a writer. I write for two disability websites and I just got hired to write a non-profit newsletter for an organization that serves people of color with disabilities I pull about $600 to $800 a month; not a lot, but definitely more than I used to (which was nothing, because of government rules attached to keeping my services which keep me alive). So I can make my own schedule. My editors don't bother my, as long as I make deadline, which I always do as I'm anal. I do so much better in a job when I choose my own time to work. I've never had a 9 to 5 job. My writing work is all done by telecommuting. I think, however, that it might be fun to need to leave my house to do work at least a few days a week. That way I could be part of a work community. Now that I think about it, I do leave my house for work whenever I'm writing about an event, but lately because so much of my work is focused on the Olympics I'm not doing that as much.

Get up at 6 am and stretch. Wake the kids up at 6:20. We all eat breakfast and then get dressed. If the kids want sandwiches for their lunches, I make them. Other than that they pack their own lunches. I pack a snack. I make sure they have their back packs, homework, etc. and then I drive them to school. Then I go to work. I check my e-mail and then I respond to e-mails, work on projects, get on conference calls, etc. Lunch between 11:30 and 12. Sometimes I take a walk for a morning or afternoon break. Mondays I grocery shop after work. The rest of the week I go home. Then I either make dinner or we go out to eat. I help with homework if the kids haven't finished it before I get home (their dad picks them up and does some of the homework with them). Get the kids to bed, baths 3 nights a week. One hour to chill, pay bills, whatever. Then bedtime around 10 PM.
Weekends I sleep in. Saturdays in the morning the girls and I go work at a no kill cat rescue. I do laundry Saturday or Sunday. Some weekends we clean, some weekends we go do something. This weekend we might go to the State Fair.

wow! you are a busy person! what a long list you have there!
my daily routine is that, i wake up at 6.30 in the morning. prepare myself and everything for school.
go to school at 7.30am.
my school starts at 8am and ends at 2 in the afternoon.
i usually go home direct after school.
i am most of the time at home at 3pm.
i check mylot first, my email and my blog.
then, i clean a little, starting in the kitchen to the bedroom to the living room and then to the bathroom.
that's almost done at 5.30pm the most.
then, i prepare dinner before my boyfriend comes home from work.
we eat dinner at 7pm.
watch some tv shows or a film.
at 10pm, i surf the net some more.
at 11.30pm, i am off to take a sleep.
that's my everyday routine.

My normal daily routine is up at 5:30
have coffee, check email, mylot a little
6:00 get ready for work, see s/o out the door
6:30 out the door to work, til 3:00
Home around 4:00 and s/o arrives shortly after I do.
Figure out dinner, straighten up around the house, watch some tv
and fix lunch for my next day. Off to bed around 10:30
However, as you know I've been on medical leave for the past 4 months, so my routine has been all screwed up. And even more so the past week or so, have been waking up around 1am, not able to go back to sleep, take pain pill, mylot til I get sleepy and then back to bed. Sleeping in til 9:30 or 10. I hate sleepy late it throws my whole day off. But my s/o will not wake me, he figures I need the sleep! My days are spent, online, picking up around the house, scrapbooking, and if the weather is nice, spending some days outside reading. Driving me crazy to be home like this all the time. lol I'm used to being off work November to mid-March (we are seasonal firefighters and work 9 months a year). And just got the letter the other day that they are letting everyone off at the end of September this year, back to work in March. So no chance of me getting back to work this season. Thank goodness I'm still getting paid through all of that! And thank goodness I have a hobby......scrapbooking, to keep me busy, slow going now with limited use of left wrist/hand lol.

My routine, has changed since I am not working now, I was laid off two months ago.
Now, i get up between five thirty and six in the morning. The cats are already sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor waiting to be fed. I feed the cats, go to the bathroom. Then I call my son, call my mother. I make the coffee for my husband, and clean the kitchen.
I go online and check my banking, maybe pay some bills.
Turn on the TV and listen to the news. Pick up in the living room, tend to the carpet, (cat hair)
Check my emails, and then get on mylot.
Husband wakes up two hours later.
Maybe I will fix breakfast, clean the kitchen, then get the clothes to wash.
afterwards, I will go on Mylot. Between all of this, I have taken a shower.
Then the rest of the day is rather quiet.
I decide what to have for dinner, cook dinner, clean kitchen, mylot. bed.
There are a lot of things in between, but this is the basic parts of my day.
Today, I had a luncheon to attend at noon.

A hectic routine is part and parcel of my life. I woke up at 7, go to the washroom and then perpare my breakfast. at 9 I go to work and retun at 7'o clock at evening. At that time I was too tired and watch TV or take rest. Weekends are the best time that I have,I spend those times either by shopping or visiting my friends house.
