Last time the Browns faced the Cowboys in the Regular Season

I've been stumping my brain on this one as you know the Browns and Cowboys are facing off in the regular season. The last time they played each other would be when the Browns were returning to the league in 1999. Since that time, their paths haven't crossed and it's pretty much a rare regular season match up. At least, it is now because of how rare you see these teams match up. I know this is going to be tough for Cleveland because they're coming off a 10-6 season. I can't say I'm going into this thinking the Browns are going to do excellent because whenever I've said that, something bad always happens. So now I'm just taking the wait and see apporach and hoping that they do well. I would like to see them make the playoffs. Any further would be a bonus as I still don't believe this team is regarded as anything more than that but that's another story. Dallas is a favorite to go all the way this year, which usually that title would go to the defending Super Bowl Champion Giants but that's just my opinion. This team has had bad fortunes in the post season lately but as they say it will come to an end. Anyway, onto the question, when was the last time these two teams faced off in the regular season? I'm a bit stumped and I'm sure it's been a while, was wondering if anyone knew for sure?
