Moving in together...

I am moving in with my boyfriend. We are starting to look for an apartment now.I've known him about a month. He is currently staying on his friends couch after he left his ex in July. He has a good job that he's been at for 2 years. I need to get out of my grams cause she is controlling my life and trying to play backseat parent to my daughter. I mean I love her and appreciate her but I need to be on my own again. How long do you think you should be with someone before you move in together??

I would recommend waiting for marriage. However, since I am in the glass house here. We met, 20 minutes later, making out, 40 minutes we were at my house, the next weekend, he moved in. This was over three years ago. The one night stand hasn't ended yet. lol I wish I love him more than I can say but I really wish I would have done things right! We would have been a great story if we had the happy ending.

I would have to say 5 months.. That way you get time to know who you are going to be livng with... I knew my husband 5 months before we got married... thats how long we knew each other for before we moved with with each other.... I would say 5 months so that way you have some time to find out who you will be living with..

well this is a big momment and i would definatly move in now under the circomstaces but if you begin to not like this guy then look for your own place for awhile then tell him you want to move out and or break up and do so with pride hope it helps eclipse
