the reason for you to accept or ask someone out?

when someone ask you out wht is your reason in sayign yes? or for the guy why do you ask someone out?
someone asked me for a date last monday (the same day the guy i love admitted that he had gf and he somewhat cheated me)but i said yes not to make revenge i said yes becoz i dont see anything bad on that or to the person who have asked me out...adn i think i will enjoyhis company but i am not attracted to him not yet..i just wanted to go out and it just came that he asked me and it was his bday last 2 weeks so a bday present liek what he told me..

the reason for me to accept someone is when that person is willing to stay with me through good times and bad times.. the person who can understand all my priorities in life.. and the reason for me to ask a person to get out of my life is that when that person leaves me.. because if she leaves me, she cant never get back..

oh this surprise me coz i am talking about a first date not even a romantic date i think...so with that in mind how will we know if the erson will stay with us through good and bad times?

I have to say I have never been asked out, but when I ask a girl out it's because I find something attractive about them and would like to get to know them better.
