My body never goes by the book, with my son according to my last period I should of been 16wks and I was only 6 wks. With this pregnant according to my last period I should be 12wks but I am only 5 wks 3 days. It has been 11 yrs since I had a baby and I am nervous, excited, happy, over joyed and wanting to just burst out the news. I am happy about being pregnant, with this one I am getting to follow the quantitative hormone level from 230pts to 2599 pts, I am happy we got it early, I am shocked we really expected it to be negative we have been negative for 2 yrs now so this is a surprise but we both are very happy and blessed by the surprise. I am happy to go through it all and this time enjoy it. My first pregnancy I was so ill I spent my pregnancy in the hospital most of the time but this one is going much better so far. Even if i go through the morning sickness and labor an what not I want to experience it all and chart it all because I dont know if this will be my last or not and we are hoping for a girl. Heres to all your mothers may you be blessed by the pregnancy, birth n baby. may your receive what you are hoping for and may the pregnancy and birth go very well for you and may you have all the support and happiness your heart desires.

I don't think many women's bodies go 'by the book.' The reason for that is because soooo many things can affect ovulation. Basically, the reason you're not as far along is that you ovulated very late in your cycle. Had you not become pregnant, your period would have definitely been delayed.
Congratulations to you!!! I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months!
