I feel like I am being ignored, I have posted and posted and I am not getting any response to any of my discussion I started. Am I doing something wrong here. Are they visible? The only place I see them is on my profile page. I know somebody out their is interested in some of the same things that I am.
All my responses have 0 response. Hello people I am here.
My username is Chevee I am the mother of three the grandmother of 4 children.

I am ready to retire, but not old enough.
I like computers.

Just relax and enjoy doing your posts. I experience the same thing, and if I'm not all caught up in hoping people read and respond to my posts, I actually enjoy this site. Just write what you're really feeling, experiencing, study the posts that get lots of responses. I don't look for responses any more. I just have fun posting and answering questions.

well it takes time to get yourself known round here, you need an active friends list. A good idea is to get an active and extensive list together of people who share your interests. Generally speaking your friends will answer your discussions
hope this helps
keep on posting

Sorry that you aren't getting any responses to your discussions. I haven't been around here lately because I've been so busy at work. This is the first discussion I have read that was started by you but I'm responding to it. :-) Hope you get some more responses to your posts. See you around.

After you have made some friends and been here awhile, you will look back at this discussion and wonder what you were so worried about. Somethings take time. You are new. Give people a chance to get to know you by responding to discussions that others have started. Yes, you get paid for doing that as well as starting your own discussions. Oh, and btw, yes, your discussions are visible. LOL

Aww, it's just because you are new here. Just like in every day life, you can't wait for people to come to you to make friends. You just have to jump in and make conversation.
Welcome to myLot, don't give up.

Hey chevee i hope that your discussions are getting much more replies after six months that you have posted this discussion. I think it is a quesion of luck here. there is no golden rule that makes you collect the greatest number of votes.

This is the first time that I have come across any of your discussions, but I am sorry that you have not been getting any responses. I will keep an eye out for you and if I see any that I can join in on then I will. I am sure that you are not being ignored on purpose though.

Hi there and nice to meet you ! I will take a look at your profile and see some of your discussions in a bit. I see you are fairly new to mylot - it takes a little bit of time to get a following here. As a rule, I respond to many more discussions than I start, although I do have quite a few discussions I have started now after being here a couple of months. Just remember that not every discussion is interesting to every user, I don't respond to every one of my friends' discussions. I have too many people on my list and sometimes I have no knowledge or interest in something they post. The same could be said for some of what I post, I can't expect all my friends to be pushing and shoving to answer, especially if say my posting was about toddler toys and my friend was a 67 year old man with no children lol. People will respond to discussions they find interesting and relevant, and things they care about or have experience in. Don't worry, I'm sure nobody is purposely ignoring you. Take care and welcome!

I've been MIA for awhile so I can't say if your discussions are here or not. This is the first one of yours I've seen. I can tell you that some people (for whatever STUPID reason) think they shouldn't respond to newbie's discussions. How dumb is that? Weren't they a newbie once too? LOL Anyway, welcome and have fun posting.

I am getting ready to go look at your profile page and respond to some of your discussions. Don't let your lack of responses get you down. Sometimes it takes people longer to get around to answering postings than others. I know that I have a hard time responding to discussions weeks that I have to work 6 or 7 days straight, but weeks that I only have to work 2 or 3 days I have lots of free time to kill.
