It's a rainy day today

Hello, alot of people get gloomy when it rains. But to be truthful that is one of the most things I like best. A dark rainy day with lots of thunder and lightning. For some reason it makes me feel good. The smell of the rain, a little cooler, and of course the lightning. I love to sit out on the porch and watch it, and sometimes I even play in it. Maby I'm just weird, but my husband likes it to. We often go for rides up on our land and make some love in it. Thats a good feeling. So the next time it rains, dont think of it as gloomy and your stuck at home, think how good the air smells, or how the lighting looks and the thunder sounds. Go stand in it for a min. You'll get wet but its well worth it. ~WiteNgtOwl

I like it when it's sunny outside. I know we need rain but I feel like when it's rainy that I always feel sleepy. The sun is shining here right now. We got up and ate breakfast this morning, then got ready and went to Sam's Club and bought some things that we needed. Then we came home and unloaded the car and put everything up. I thought I'd get on mylot some before we have to leave to go to a birthday party. But I'm glad the sun is out here cause I hate going out in rainy weather. Hope the sun comes out where you are soon so you can go get your groceries.

The weather this August has been a washout with lots of rain and cool weather. We still have the long light evenings but apart from this it doesn't feel like it is the summer. It feels like autumn going on winter, it could be October. We usually have warm sunny days at this time of the year. Earlier this week I fancied having a day out so I picked the best day weather wise and that was yesterday. I took my toddler son to a seaside town by train and then we took a bus to a sandy beach, a castle and a historic pier. Today I think it is going to rain again in a moment. The weather is cool and showery. Yes, this type of weather is sad and boring. My lot is enjoyable so I am staying at home today doing that.

I feel the same way when it rains, it gets me down. We have had quite a lot of rain again this summer, not much sunshine. Sunshine is what I look forward too, like a lot of people there is nothing better than having a lovely warm sunny day. With not having much of that, just rain it is very depressing!

Hi, I do get like that myself sometimes, I get really sleepy when it starts to rain, or just really lazy. Lol.

It is really cloudy out today and the fog is starting to lift but it is not raining. I am going shopping with my mom and kids. We are going to pick up a few more school clothes for my kids. I have some coupons for Herbergers and JcPenneys and Old Navy is having a sale.

i love the rain. it is very hot always here in the philippines and i know you are from here as well. even when it is raining and me and my wife has plans to go to the supermarket we still go out and go. together with our two years old son we go out even if it is raining. i dont feel sad or boring when it rains because my son too loves the rain. we even play under the rain. i will feel sad and boring if the electricity will be cut during hard rain. that is really sad and boring

Sunny can make me feel well in winter , and rainy can bring me good mood in summer ,especially the temperature is so high . so, what is the reason ? if you are in winter , the same to me , I hate rains in winter can't even more . It's too cold and moist .

Rainy days often match my mood, but I don't like them. Does this make sense? When it rains I don't feel like doing much. Way to go with opting to flock to Mylot. That's the spirit, lol. So I totally understand what you mean. I'm not a perky individual, but my energy drains me more when it rains.

I really enjoy rainy days, but if it rains for days on end I start to feel a bit frustrated as you say. I think long periods of time without rain can actually be stressful for people. We were in drought here in Australia for a long time until just recently. When the drought broke, even people in the cities celebrated. Perhaps it's because we humans originally evolved from living in water, and some instinct in us misses it when it's not around.

Well to me, just a messy feeling but definitely not sad or bored. Messy because of the mud and sometimes if the rain is hard there comes the flood. And one time I was even stranded in the office because of the rain. But actually I love rain because it gives cool atmosphere and feels like I wanna sleep all day. I just wish, there are no works when it rains so I could really sleep and rest while it rains. Getting sad or bored during rainy day... well not for me, every day for me is a bright day no matter what the weather is. You know why? I have Jesus and He is the sunshine of my soul! God bless!
