I was wondering how many people thought that Peter Jackson did a good job recreating the Lord of the Rings series on the big screen????

Considering the amount of detail & story he had to squeeze into that few hrs he had I think he did a great jog. Did you notice that Toms role in the barrows was deleted but his song which put the willow to sleep was sung by Treebeard instead. I thought that was great how even though a few scenes which didn't directly relate to the flow of the movie were deleted he still made a reference to them.
I sooo wish they'd get a move on in making The Hobbit.

i think he did a pretty good job with the movie. the only thing that i didn't like was that arwen (liv tyler) had too much exposure in the movie. the arwen in the book did not really have that much role. if i remember correctly, in the 1st book, it was elrond who saved aragorn from those guys riding horses. in the movie, they made arwen do it. i don't like arwen in the book and in the movie.
