Do you get tempted to have a cup of coffee when you watch a similar scene in TV?

Yesterday was a cool and cloudy day in my place. Myself and my husband were watching a good movie. There was a scene in the movie wherein someone drank a hot cup of coffee. Immediately I felt that it would be nice if I too had a cup of coffee. And in a fraction of second, my husband asked "can we have some coffee now?"..I was pretty surprised. Is this a normal behaviour of mankind? Do you get tempted to drink coffee when you watch someone drinking coffee in TV or movie? Have you also felt the same?

I'm not a mormon or anything but I'm not really fond of drinking coffee. I'm addicted to water. But I had this experience before where I saw a commercial promoting a hamburger, and then I texted my mom to buy me some. Good thing my mom is the best mom in the world.

Yes, I don't normally drink coffee, but often when I'm watching someone on TV have a really good looking cup of coffee I want some. It's a million times worse when my husband makes his coffee in the morning, and I get to smell it too, lol! I normally resist though, as it doesn't agree with me.
This kind of thing starts really young though. Whenever my daughter sees someone in her kids' programmes eating something nice she comes and asks me for some. The other day someone was eating cheese toasties, so she asked if she could have some for breakfast. I made her some, as it's good when she eats, because she can sometimes be fussy. So this effect is sometimes a good thing!

Yes, it is good when they ask for things to eat, but it's always best if they're healthy things, and not crisps and chocolate!
