Early to bed and early to rise..

makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.. How many of us follow this policy? Me, I stay till late and I wake up late, then attend my work.How about you?

No dear... I get up early ...around 4.45 am in morning...even if I stay late ( sometimes )

My average sleeping time is 9 P.M. Beyond that, I feel grogy and could not anymore concentrate, whether I'm reading or watching TV. I believe in sleeping early and rising early too. It's a sure sign of good discipline for me. However, I understand there are people who would rather sleep late, but still be more productive. Well, that suits them; it's just a matter of preference really. But early birds catch the bigger worms, right?

You got it right.. It is like maintaining a discipline, you go to bed early and wake up fresh early in the morning ready to do your work with fresh mind.Children should follow this rule or discipline I should say.It will be a healthy practice for them too.

well considering the fact that i usually have to be to work at 4 a.m. it is early to bed for me and when the alarm goes off at 2:45 a.m. it is also early to rise...with this schedule i have a hard time staying up past 7:30 p.m. or so...on my days off i tend to stay up a bit later but am usually up by 5 a.m. anyway lol....

I must say, you have a very good habit of waking up early in the morning...It seems like "somebody" is tight up with so much of work and responsibilities.Anyways,do take care of your health and try to get proper sleep.Good day!

It is a good habit to early to bed and early to rise. proper sleep make energetic.And also the morning time is fresh to work and will be more energetic

The policy doesnt always works I stay late and early to rise, I usually spend some stuff in my computer at such, I couldnt notice that its already late evening or early dawn then go to sleep, but I am always awaken early mornings for no reason at all, it might be because of the fact that I am used to it and my system follow after that early morning wake up. But I usually do some naps during the noon time to make up for the night's loss number of sleep. Have a great day to you !

i love to sleep late on Saturdays .. as i am off on sundays .. but during work days i try to sleep by 12mn but still getting up early seem to be a problem. I am a night person but not a morning person. I love to sleep in the morning ..

I guess we are same.I mean, at night I can stay awake very late, but when it comes to sleeping,morning hours is the best for me.I find it difficult to get up from my warm and cozy bed.

Hi brisk No, I can't follow that policy. In fact, considering work pressure and other things, I often find myself not in a position to decide when should I go to bed, so when should I get up from bed. It often requires that stay till nate night because of some unaviodable circumstances which I just can't deny. So today's fast life is not allowing me to remain much healthy by following this simple yet effective policy.

I know with too much of work and responsibilities, it is difficult to maintain such policy.My brother in law comes back home after 10 from office sometimes,so it is obvious that even dinner is serve late and then, he will watch some channel on TV, by the time he goes to bed, it is already 1 o'clock.It is difficult to maintain in this fast world.But just try to get enough sleep, my friend

I always go to bed late and rise when I have got about 7 hours of sleep. The saying goes no doubt, bu I think its the amount of sleep that matters. Wealth may not have anything to do with it.

Ya I should have excluded the word "wealthy".... These days am hardly sleeping even 6 hours.I stay late at night, in the morning need to wake up early and run before I get late.Actually, am not able to sleep early at night for no reason at all and now this myLot addictionis keeping me awake.

Hello,Brisk! I suppose almost 90% of the urban population don't follow this doctrine.They stay late at night and gets up late too.so most of our urban people suffer from lifestyle disorders.I am also no exception to this habit.But I have no health problem so far though running seventy.thanx.

yup, we don't follow this rule,but we do apply for our kids.Kids need to get up early and study atleast for about an hour before going to school..

If I do not have something to do like it is my off I always wake up late in the day as 9am it is so late for me already for it is my normal time schedule to wake up at 6am in the morning for it is my way always and I always sleep in the night at 9pm if I have some work but if not I stay late at night until 12 midnight....

My practice is going late to bed and early to rise.i usually go to bed at 12 and try to getup with the help of alarm on 2am,but usually off the alarm and again sleep.almost get up in 4am

Getting up early in the morning is actually a good practice if we adapt it, but most people including me find it very difficult.You should set your alarm for 4:30, in that way you will be getting up at 5.This is what I usually do.I will set my alarm 30 minutes before then snooze it.I hate to wake up early..
