I am sick of yahoo

I'm using Thunderbird to automatically download the email messages from My Yahoo Mail to my Hard Drive. So it never happens to me.

O.. my god.. i thought it was my problem and the mal functioning of my pc.. ( you could just see my comment on OreoCookie's topic, "I FIXED IT" ).. So, i could not respond to the topics of mylot from my mail notifications.. and the thing is the front page of yahoo is displayed.. Thank god.. now only i am relived.. it is not only my problem.. and that of yours also..

Hey me too...since last two nights. Sometimes, yahoo has these sorts of problems, better create work id, in others too.

i just try to log for my mail account and i did get in ... maybe you should try it now also

Could it be the search engine that you are using, maybe its because it has to load an encrypted page.

well yes i also think that there are lot of problems with yahoo and that is why i personally don't use yahoo to much. it is very slow and then the things are a bit complicated and that takes up time. i am using rediffmail and also gmail and i always prefer gmail to any other. first the big thing is the pop 3 access which is very important for me. all the bank and other important mails are also stored in my laptop hdd and that is how can track my mail any where. then there is the fast interface and powerful integrated chat system which makes it a better one to any other in the groups

I have stuck to the old classic version (not the new version) and have had no problems so far at all. Its faster than the new version.

Of late yahoo has become very slow and I am very unhappy with their mail services. Expecially if you have a .com email id it takes ages to load the page. Rediffmail is a very good alternative to it as it loads in a jiffy. I think it's time for Yahoo to pull up its pants or else it will be too late!

That is the problem with Yahoo nowadays! First, it was their auctions page that was down, then their merchant shopping accounts and finally now their emails! Yahoo! is going down the dumps, sooner or later. Lol. About 2 months back, i purchased the merchant account to sell my products online. Well, i paid around $200 USD for that (1 time payment) and $49.90 thereafter monthly. what really pisses me off is that I cannot log in to my account to do anything! When I contacted their customer support, all I had got was a very rude response from yahoo personnel saying that my account works fine on their side, and it must have been my computer that is not working! Okay, fair enough, except that I tried to log into my account with 8 different computers! I don't think all the 8 computers are down. It has something more to do with their servers or something. Well, I then asked for a refund of my purchase (I was in it for only 2 or 3 days), and they told me that no refunds would be given, and that my monthly deductions still stands. Needless to say, I refused to pay up for the credit card that I had used to pay for the yahoo account and domain name, and after 2 months of non payment, they had finally terminated my account! Thank goodness! The lesson to learn.. Yahoo! is a thing of the past already and others are already taking over Yahoo as the best ISP.

Oh yeah me too , i was having alot of problems to access my ALL NEW MAIL thing (yahoo) it pissed me off too . I live in INDIA

i once had a similar problem where in i wasn't able to login into my account.as far as i know there are mainly two reasons for this kind of a problem.the first one-your id being hacked and the second one-server problem.thankfully my problem was in the second category where i was able to login into my id the next day.i feel that you are facing a similar kinda problem and the id will be ok tommorrow and as some others said....the classic version of yahoo works better than the newer one.
