Yes, I agree with you that male friends are certainly better. But at the same time we should also have female friends. because each gender has its own qualities. we should have a perfect balance of the two

Yes.. I have a lot of male friends. And just have 6 girl friends. Having a boy friend make my life easier because they always willing to help me when I am in trouble. My girl friends is the place I can share my secret and my problems. But I mostly prefer to have a male friend..

I am from India. The society is more traditional here. And traditionally friendship between boys and girls are not seen in a healthy view in our society. Times are changing. Kids these days are mixing up more freely than in our times. My mom was a strict traditional mom. She was always my best friend at home but she wouldn't entertain my friendship with boys. My best friend outside home was a girl. We are still friends but not in touch as much as before . I guess being married got us both too busy to be in constant contact and now with a baby in each of our laps I don't think the situation is going to improve any further. The only guy friends I had were my brothers friends who came home with him or a few from my school. But none were that close. Its funny now that I am married to my brother's best friend and now he is more close to me than to my brother.

I strongly disagree with you... Actually gender doesn't matter with friendship. Just be true from your heart. Thats enough. Women are also great-hearted. There are some people who are straight forward also. Just choose a friend that suits your character. That may be either men or women. Happy mylotting.
