my earnings went....down???

You had a post deleted. You either had a post you started deleted or you had a response you made deleted. You can have posts deleted for breaking the guidelines like posting recipes, referal links, jokes, or copy and pasting without giving the author credit etc.

It only happens when MyLot deletes a discussion. You must have replied to a discussion which got deleted by MyLot. How can you get paid for a deleted discussion. You may not have noticed your total number of replies. Like it is now 858. It also must have decreased by 1.

Sometimes it not one of your own discussions that got deleted, but one you may have replied to belonging to someone else. I have this happen from time to time, the discussion looks fine, but then later it's found out it was a copy of someone else and it gets deleted. When that happens the credit you received for replying to it, is removed as well. Bites, because unless you search every discussion you reply to, in order to find out if it's been done before, there is no way of knowing it's a copy, you know? So this reduction could be from nothing you did wrong at all other than posting at the wrong time to the wrong post. You will also see your earnings go up a few cents as well from time to time. Mylot does these adjustments couple of times during the month, but not daily. These adjustments can also include increasing your earnings by a few cents as well, for Best Responses and things like that.

It happened to other most often I read discussions like that here. Maybe in my case I am not so observant if my earnings had gone down or not. I am not keeping tract what I have exactly in a day that is why i can't complain. I hope it doesn't happen in mine too.
