days vs life Duh Me!

That quote reminds me so much of another one and it oddly enough is found in both the first book (by JRR Tolkien) and movie of Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring, when Gandalf is talking to Frodo...In the movie, it's when the fellowship is in the mines of Moria.. Frodo is already feeling the burden of being the ringbearer, and Gandalf says "~~~~All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us~~~~how true, no?

I disagree with Annie Dillard. People can change the way they spend their days multiple times during their lives. I agree with you Raydene when you say that life is a series of segments.
