I'm into crocheting. I love making wallets, cellphone holders, etc. It's a form of a stress reliever for me. I can make a stuff in just few minutes. I also love using pastel colored-yarns. I love seeing my finished stuff. =)

I have been crochets for several years now. I have made blankets for my children and several other things. I just finished a blanket for my bedroom, it will come in handy for the winter time. I am taking a bit of a break right now because my carpel tunnel is acting up really badly after working so hard to finish my blanket but I will get back into it soon working on more blankets for my kids so they can stop nagging my nerves.

i've been crocheting since I was nine years old, that's when my mother taught me back then as a family legacy passed on from my grandmother whose also very good in crochet.. I started making crochet dolls out of yakult bottles, in college I stopped crocheting for a long time and never thought I still have the skill in me.. after I graduated, my bestfriend told me about a website she found that are selling cute crochet stuff animals, knowing that I know how to crochet she convinced me to try it out, in fact my profile pic is a crochet cat from that website.. I was not quite sure if I still know how to and on her birthday, I made a crochet pink and white panda bear, she was really really happy when I gave it to her after the church service, and soon most of my friends at church loved what I'm making and I began accepting orders for sale.. and its usually customized.. whatever you want for your crochet stuff animals, I'll try to do it.. and the hardest thing i've done is a crochet chicken little doll.. now that I'm working I hardly have time to go back to my crocheting business again.. maybe I just need a lil motivation.. and I'm constantly wondering if there's actually a crochet community in my city that I could join to keep my crochet going.. oh well, keep it up with the crochet mania! and its good to know it could be a stress-buster..

There is a very nice forum for crocheters at crochetville.org. They have some amazing women on there and a man or two in there too.

I don't know of any there, but the site I mentioned has people from many different countries. I was looking at a link earlier from one lady who looks like she may have been from Japan by the writing on her page she posted. You don't have to be a member to look at the pages they have there. I'm not because I don't have time for more forums than I'm already on but I love to look at what others have done and get ideas for new things.

I have been crocheting since I was a child. Every winter, I crochet a few blankets. This past winter I made four. Each of my children have blankets I have made them. I have given them away for baby shower gifts, wedding gifts, thank you gifts, etc.

I love to crochet too and have made a lot of baby blankets, afghans, a few scarves here and there. I find it very relaxing and I love to see how things turn out. I try to vary my colors a bit, put together colors you wouldn't normally think of, vary the width of the stripes or chevrons, etc. They usually come out quite nice, and I've sold a few of them and given others as gifts. There is an interest area here for crafts and crochet. Some of us have started discussions there and have shown photos of our work.

I know how to crochet and knit and have always preferred crocheting. Love how it looks when finished and is more relaxing to me. I haven't done so in years however!
