Would you prefer to have your own pool or a jacuzzi?

I love to go swimming in a warm pool and I find going in a bubbly jacuzzi really relaxing.
If you could choose to have a swimming pool or a jacuzzi which would you have do you think? Describe what it would be like. What shape would it be? How big would it be? How often do you think that you would go in it?

I think I would rather have a pool so my husband and I can just go out in the pool and have lots of fun just relaxing in the sun. I think being in a pool could also be a lot of fun. It wouldn't be too big but just the right size for husband and I and my stepsons whenever they came over.

i would prefer my own pool and it should be too big .it should be in one acre of land and should be in any shape.and it should be in front of my house and no body should see it .
i will go for swimming daily two or three hours and i will ask some of my friends to accompany me sometimes .

I don't have a pool or the desire to get a pool as they are a lot of work and it costs
a lot of money to maintain one. I know because I have a girlfriend that has an
indoor pool in her house and she has told me. It is a really big one inground. The
size of ones I have seen at indoor pool places.
Since her kids are older now they never use it and she is in the process of getting
a divorce and she never uses it anymore so she has let my daughter and I use it
when ever we want. So on Mondays we go clean her house, we do that for a living, and
we do her house last so we can take advantage of her offer and use the pool. I love
it and wish she lived closer so I could go every day but since she doesn't I have to
be happy with going whenever I can. I have a key to her house and she said I don't have
to phone when I want to use it, to just come and use it. She is a flight attendant
and hardly ever home and her kids have moved out and she kicked out her husband
so she is now living there alone and so she likes that we come over and use it.
Especially when she is gone for days on end, that way we can check on things.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Your friend Chris

Jacuzzi because I can swim anywhere in the spring, summer, and fall, but in winter, my arthritis wants a jacuzzi. Square, 4 person(just because I like that size, don't want 4 people in it) with all the zets I can get.

Oh, that is a tough question! I love jacuzzis, and I would probably use one more often than a pool. But if I want to exercise and swim laps, obviously a pool would be better! Can I have both?
If I had a pool, I'd definitely want a water slide! I love water slides! And a diving board!
If I had my own pool or jacuzzi, I'd definitely use it often! I would love to have my indoor pool and jacuzzi that I could use year round!

I would like to have an indoor, heated pool where I can comfortably swim all year round, day or night. I once saw a picture of a pool that was carved out of existing sandstone beside the house. It was absolutely beautiful. I also love pools which look like an oasis, surrounded by plants and waterfalls.

I think I'm gonna have a Jacuzzi. I'd like it to be in a room with a massage bed.my my, i hope my husband reads this...LOL, so he'd consider putting up one,LOL. Actually I have a design already but my husband says,it woul be very expensive. The pool will be nice, but it will have a very expensive maintenance. I have relatives who had pools, when the kids grew up,the pool was useless, so they had it covered and maximize the space...so if my wish would come true...I'd like a jacuzzi right next to the masters bedroom.

Hmmm I would love both of it to exist in our home! But if I should choose one, I'd go for the swimming pool. I would love to do laps more than relax in a bubbling jacuzzi. I love to be active in the water so I need a hug pool. Probably, the shape would be near rectangular with curved edges. I would also put some artificial waterfall in one of the sides where I could take a shower (not that ordinary shower at the bathroom). I would love a huge pool with deep waters where I could dive and enjoy. I hope this will be fulfilled. I just love swimming.

I think I would prefer to have my own pool because I love swimming and it would be far more healthy to go for a swim than to sit in the jacuzzi and besides being in a jacuzzi on your own is no fun is it? If I had a partner then yes maybe, but no I would go for the pool then I could have a swim in the morning and again in the evening and I wouldn't have to worry about kids splashing or jumping in, that's why I don't like the leisure centre it's always full of kids. I would like a nice big pool, so I can swim a proper length, I wouldn't want a fancy shaped one, just an ordinary bulk standard rectangle shape and it would have to be indoor being in the UK you just don't get the right kind of weather for outdoor pools!

Although I love jaxuzzi, if I could have one or the other I would prefer a pool without no doubts whatsoever. I can't swim in a jacuzzi LOL
What's my dream pool. Well, because of the weather in here I would like it to be indoor, but with one full wall maybe in glass that could be open during the summer. I would like those doors/windows to lead into a grass area. The shape wouldn't matter much. I think rectangular would be best for swimming laps. I would like to be able to have heated water - even in the summer the water in the pools here is way too cold:) I would like one end to dip slowly, maybe with a few steps so I could get into the water slowly...Oh well dreams LOL
How often would I go, at least once a day. I love to have a swim first thing in the morning, it invigorates me, and then I would probably try for one just before dinner, a longer one.

Pool! I'm one of those who likes going under water and jacuzzies just aren't big enough or deep enough. For me a pool needs to be a decent size and at least 8 foot deep, though I love the 14 foot deep ones but they are so rare in my area.
Jacuzzies kind of freak me out a bit, I mean, it bubbles, shoots water at you and you could boil someone in many of them, I prefer refreshing cool water, not a boiling pot lol.

I would prefer a swimming pool and it would have to be quite large so that I could do some laps and it would be square or rectangle. I would probably like to go in at least twice a week depending on what the weather was like. Maybe have it heated in the winter and when it's not raining i'd still be able to go swimming!
