Britian has just had their best day ever in the Olympics.
Becky Adlington broke the world recoord in the swimming and won her second gold medal.
Both Chris Hoy and Bardley Wiggins both got gold in their events in the cycling.
The coxless four also got gold in the rowing.
We also got a sliver and three bronze
They predict that we could have alot more medals to come.
I would love to see Ireland win some medals.
I would also like to see some of the smaller countries to come through to win some medals as well.
How do you think your country will do are they doing as has been prediced?.
Or are they doing alot better than everyone thought?.
Would you like to see some of the smaller countries come through to win medals.

I am American, and by the looks of it we will probably have the most medals in the end as always, though China has a lot of golds (though some are not deserved). I really love following Michael Phelp's throughout his gold winning, so far he has seven golds from the seven events he participated in. Tonight I am going to watch him again in his last event and hopefully he will get the gold and make even more history tonight! I would love to see Sweden get some more medals because my boyfriend lives in Sweden, they just lost a bronze medal because it was stripped from a wrestler that had a bit of a temper... I would really like to see them get a gold in something before everything is said and done. Happy mylotting, and good luck to Britain as well, but not in Phelp's last swim please .

Lol i also hope that Micheal Phelp's will get his last gold as i have been following him as well. I think that Amercia are very capable of taking over china in the medals table.
Shame about Sweden being stripped of their bronze.

I am chinese ,China now has got the most gold medals, but not the total of medals, anyhow,i think the essence of the competition is to take part in and competite, not to get medals as many as enough,so,i hope more counries can display themselves and feel the fun of sports, making olympics more meaningful.^_^

I think the US will finish near the top in total medals, if not at the top. The same with total golds. I also would like to see lesser known country's win medals! That's always so nice too see!

Glad that I found this discussion as I was going to start one like it. What a brilliant day and more to come tomorrow as the sailing was postponed. Chris Hoy has the most medals of any scot and Becky Adlington is the best female British swimmer ever. People were saying that they should be knighted. Fancy receiving this accolade at only 19 years of age.
I was surprised that Korea and Italy were above Great Britain in the medals table but think we caught them up now.
It was great that Roger Federer won the doubles tennis to get Gold for Switzerland. We get so used to our competitors not managing to do well under pressure and supporting the underdogs.

What a great accolade it would be to be knighted at 19. Has it ever happen?.
I think we are now sixth in the medal table.
Its good that he won gold i missed that one.
That is so true we always seem to just miss out on the medals so it was great to see Great Britian winning today.
Lets hope we get some more tomorrow.

I'm a chinese girl.
I believe in my country that china will win the most golden metals.
Though US is a great competitor, china is begin to accelerate now.
In my opinion , the key is whether America can achieve the expected
golden medals in track and field.
I am happy to discuss with you.
