The internet has lots of information and data available, one can copy any data from it and use them scrupulously. Copyrighted movies and songs find their way into the wrong people's hands who earn a living from them by selling them to the public in return. The movie producer or recording studio, spent millions on them but the large number of population buy the copied (pirated) ones and not the originals.(perhaps some consumers are unaware?) The copied ones are much cheaper too.
The copiers sometimes, earn much compared to the producers, because the copier spent less just a few CD's and a little time and that's it.
What are your thoughts on this?

We have stringent laws to restrict selling/distribution of unauthorized CDs/DVDs - to safeguard the legitimate interest of copyright owners but who cares. Pirated CDs/DVDs are sold on kiosks by the side of even some of the busiest city streets. It is said that they have understanding with police so they can do whatever they want. I'm against any form of usage of pirated CDs/DVDs. It takes so much effort to compose a song and present the same beautifully to provide us entertainment. Why should we not be agreed to pay due respect to the singers/musicians?

well.. thats one of the huge drawbacks of technology.. and we simply can't help it. and what makes it worse, is that there are buyers of these pirated materials. i'd be lying if i said i never use pirated softwares, but only when i want to try something out. i don't buy pirated music though.. and thats simply because downloading music from the net is way too easy, specially for those who know how to go about it.
