this is one thing im so thankful for, the fact that you can pay all your bills online-credit cards, utilities, etc! imagine, you dont have to go out and drive! with just a few click here & there, voila, all your bills are paid...and thanks to the email alerts, and scheduled payments, you dont need to miss anything...
how about you, do you pay your bills online too?

Yes I will agree with you. Technology can no further help us. We have the previlage of doing everything sitting at home. Imagine standing in a Q in the hot sun for a long time to pay just a bill. Its awsome now.
I have applied for internet banking facilities and also for the credit card. I am waiting for it to start doing all the transactions through internet.
Tell me about the safety of internet transactions through credit card.

Well we see technology being a necisity in our lives. We use washing machines, vaccum cleaners, microwaves etc. And not the internet has come a handy. Well working from home would be big milestone creation though it is still under processing. How would it be to work from home, shop from home and do everything from home. I would go out of the city and built a home in a big plot and stay there. What would you do?

my husband is an IT, he often works from home. also, there are websites that offers their grocery products thru an online catalog, u just choose, pay and they deliver...so that is something that is possible...
but inspite the fact that we can almost do everything at the comfort of our homes, its still good do go out, be with other people, smell the flowers, see the meadows & feel the breeze =)

Yes, everything gets payed on-line one way or another. Even if I have to use the on-line checking feature that the bank provides (for free). The only time that I use to have to pay off-line was back at the old apartments. They had no way to pay on-line, they only took checks. I think my check book is still packed and in the back room....

yeah some establishments would still want cash or checks, but soon they will have no choice but to keep up,maybe a few more years from now, checks are gonna be obsolete.

thats a precaution we online clients should definitely take. otherwise, the risk for being hacked & stolen identity gets pretty high.
happy mylotting!

Being able to pay bills online has really been wonderful ever since I started it several years ago. I realizd recently that I'm beginning to resent those bills I can't pay online or by phone. I don't want to write checks and use snail mail; it seems as if we're paying them to be sure our bills are paid late, because they lost it or it went to the wrong state or whatever their latest excuse is. If I don't print out receipts, I can put the payment and the confirmation number into my check register and everything'd in it's place!

exactly my point! how convinient, right?! =)
i do the same when i ran out of printer ink, i just take down the confirmation number and im good to go....oftentimes, an email is sent to confirm so even if i dont save it, i still have the confirmation number in my inbox.

Yes, this is a good way to do things. For those who are not so computer savvy, I can see that it can be a bit of a worry. They worry that they might be 'hacked', but if you use a good firewall/ virus protection etc program this should stop the vast majority of these threats. Just using some common sense helps too. I'm quite incredulous how some people respond to 'phishing' emails, which try to get you to give away your banking details - most are just so amateurish!

No, i don't pay my bills online because if i used the online service of my card it would charge me extra, and since i am still living with my parents and i am a student with job, i manage without it, but will probably use it when i will have a salary of my own.

i also do bank transactions online, tranfering the money from the payroll to a high earning savings acct. i cant imagine going to & from bank to bank just to do that, thru online transactions, it all happens withing minutes. i just hope its really safe, so far ive never experienced being hacked and i hope to keep it that way =)

I do pay most of my bills online, there are still a few that I can't pay online. Pretty much all but two of my bills can be paid online and I take full use of that feature. Our utilites are provided by the town borough, so they do not have that set up. You either have to mail it in, or take it in person. Which, it's in walking distance so why waste a stamp. The other bill that I can't pay online, I can do it over the phone, so almost the same convinience. I think it's great that we are able to do that.

I think that I only actually pay two bills online, the rest I have set up on direct debits from the bank. I find that direct debit is much easier because I do not have to worry about remembering to pay it, all I have to worry about is making sure the money is in there!
It is easy though to pay online, no queueing up in a bank or a post office, and best of all no charges to pay the bill.

Yes, I pay my bills online. I had to hurry and get the card for doing online transactions from my bank as soon as possible because it's so inconvenient having to go to the bank to pay bills or transfer money. I even reload my airtime credit online as well. It really has saved me a lot of money, time and effort.

reloading airtime credit online is a big convinient,,makes us all do more chores with our time & energy rather than driving to payment centers & lining up for hours!

I pay me bill on line only a few times. If it is not required and no other way, I will not pay the bill on line. I am not used to pay bills on line because the service is not perfect and usually I have not many bills to pay. But it is a trend that most of bills will be payed on line.

for the past years that im using online services, i have not encountered any inconvience yet. i guess im just lucky. but when the weather is not so good, and the road gets pretty bad esp on winter, paying online surely helps.
thanks.

NO i dont pay my bills online. I do use my online banking for transfering funds but not to pay my bills. The only thing which is being paid online is taxes as it has been made mandatory to pay most of the taxes online by the govt.

siting at home and paying bills is very easy. I use the credit card to pay bill online. But is a very riskfull jobs. one day i am using the credit card to pay bill online But they charge me thrice. I claim to bank but they says that it will take around 90days to recover the amount. But I like this service because they nothing is play than online banking.

No, thanks. I don't want to pay bills online. It's too risky. I rather stand up from my office chair and pay it personally. I know it may be much harder than paying it online but I prefer the safest way and not the fastest way.

Yes, I do pay my bills online. It is really cost efficient as it saves time and money when you use this online facility. I am also glad that we have this service nowadays.

I never tried paying bills online or by telephone. We pay bills by mail because we are protecting our personal information. We had a problem before when checking balance online and found an unfamiliar payment. That was a phone payment transaction for a credit card payment that was deducted to our account. So we went to our bank and resolved the problem. We never did any phone payment or online payment so the problem was solved.

This is a great service for the disabled and elderly that are unable to get out and either pay their bills or mail them. No more wondering if the payment got there on time or if it even got there. With the price of gas and stamps, give me online payments everytime. No late fees, and it only takes a few minutes at the computer and you are set for another month.
