Will a male dog ever be aggressive around a female dog?

Hi I have a female dog and its very aggressive towards other dogs. A few weeks ago i was visiting a relative and they had a male dog, I have seen that dog be aggressive towards other dogs, but when it was near my dog he was scared of her. Then i heard that a male dog will never be aggressive towards female dogs. Is that true? Will male dogs never be aggressive towards female dogs?

Oh yeah. If the male isn't fixed then he will be aggressive, not always severely, towards any dog. In some cases the male might not being aggressive, but definitely frisky, lol. Then that usually leads to more problems if another male is around. Because he doesn't know how to help himself, you know?
