McCain/Obama Forum with Rick Warren

Did anyone catch the McCain/Obama forum tonight on CNN?
Rick Warren got the chance to question both of them separately about issues tonight. When I first heard Rick Warren was going to be doing this I figured the questions would be mainly religious based. I was pleasantly surprised at the questions and responses. I thought both candidates did a good job getting their points across. I think Obama was able to clear up his religious views. As usual I think Obama did a great job tonight. While I don't agree with McCain on certain issues I have to say I also think he did a good job tonight. Of course he used stories of his military experience to reach Americans.
I really enjoyed watching this tonight and I feel confident in who I am voting for. We still have the debates to watch. With their strong differing views the debates should be very interesting. I can't wait!

Someone else started a discussion about this as well. I won't repeat my answer here. I'll just say that I think McCain did a much better job.
Obama said, "uh, uh, uh" a lot as he tried to figure out what to answer.
McCain answered quickly and with confidence.

I was so glad to see McCain get a spotlight in front of the camera finally so people can learn who he is and what he thinks about the real issues. He has almost been the "hidden candidate" in the news up to now. Both candidates did a good job expressing their various stances on the issues. I got a better understanding of who each candidate is. If there was a "winner" I'd say McCain shined more. He was very eager to jump in and let his stands on the issues be known, and I felt his enthusiasm through his comments. One comemtator on the debate mentioned that Obama dodged the question about when does life begin by making another comment about abortion. That commentator said you could hear an audible gasp from the crowd when they heard Obama'a answer. But my opinion is I enjoyed being able to see each candidate in a real forum so we can compare their answers and learn who they really are.
