Hi I have a dog thats infested with flees and I have been trying all sorts of ways to get rid of the flees baths, collars, ect. I also have 3 cats they haven't gotten flees from my dog yet but I want to get rid of the flees before my cats get infested also. Please anyone have any tips on how to get rid of flees fast.

Ours is a fluffy dog. He had a lot of fleas before, but when we shaved his hair, bathe with dog soap and put the collar, the fleas went away. His hair has beautifully grown now, he's healthy and no fleas. Another thing, we don't feed him chicken. It could cause itching skin. Well, that's for our dog.

Here's one non-commercial method that I use. I personally guarantee that it works with my cats and dogs. Garlic. I get one portion of garlic and crush it really really well then mix it into my cat's and dog's food - the garlic odor permeates throughout your pet's body and presumably through their skin and drives away. When the infestation was bad, I did it everyday. Now, I do it maybe once a week or every other week for maintenance.

Frontline works wonders. You can get it at the vet or somewhere. It really works
