are you satisfied on the career that you have chosen? did it ever enter your mind that you think it was not the right field you have chosen to enter? not all of us had the chance to choose their careers on their own some were just pushed by their parents or relatives..if given a chance will you still be continuing you present career or will you choose another one that you really like?

i cannot say i am satisfied nor dissatisfied with my career. i actually don't practice much and it's also not the field of work i have now. i wanted to become an engineer but a little short of studies but doing some technical computer works made me feel that i still do what i learned from school. I just want to finish my engineering course if i can. but i guess it's a lot far from becoming a truth. (neildc @ red/89/1632)

I guess I can relate to your discussion kaezy_kulet. Frankly, I'm not happy nor satisfied on my field of career right now. I want to work on different kind of field. Yes, I like to work on a big company but not in a hospital. I guess, being in a medical field is a hard responsibility though this is a good job that will make me reach my goals in life but it will take a long process and journey. You know what I mean... As of now, my goal is to do my best and let see what will be the result one year from now. Still I am planning to work abroad and try my luck on whatever position that will qualify me.Thanks for the post my friend!

Nope, well I just follow my grandmother and aunt who's working abroad to took up nursing. Until now, I cannot embrace the fact that I will pursue my life as a nurse. I just think it over..If I will pass the board maybe this is my destiny and If I failed I will pursue another path. well that's life.

Well, for the most part, I enjoy what I do. It is an interesting job. Just where I work at this time does not pay that much, so that is one of the main drawbacks. I have considered applying elsewhere in the future doing the same type of work just with somewhere that pays a little more is all. For me, my job does have some interesting rewards when I know people are satisfied as well.

I studied to become a primary school teacher and in the second year I quit because I knew it wouldn't make me happy and even if I got the grade I would never want to use it and work in this field. It's a pretty specific diploma so there isn't any place else you can work woth this diploma.
I now study to become a pedagogue and I like that a lot. It's all about how to raise children, how to raise children with a disability or sydrom and how to support their parents. There is more to it, but that's it in a nutshell.
You get a lot of psychological courses and courses about child development, that allways interested me most but I thought it was the right step to become a teacher because my pre-education was to become a teachers assistent; next logical step, but it wasn't right for me.
I am starting my second year this college year and I'm totally into it and I love it. Switching doesn't have to be a bad thing, I have had a lot of courses in my studies that overlap which made my first year in this education a lot easier and gave me a lot of selfesteem.

True, but it may take some time to figure out what you really want.
If I had persued my carreer straight after finishing high school I would be a master graduate by now instead of a second year bachelor student, but experience has made me rich and that's something I would've lacked if I would have gone straight onwards with university studies. thanks.

My career as a mother is a 24hr tough job, no pay no day off and resignation is impossible. I am very happy on my chosen field because I gain experience everyday and a single kiss from my kids repays all the hard work for the day.
I will continue to be in this field and would plan to take some masteral in the near future.

Sad to say, i still dun have a career now.. WHat i have now is still only a job, and i do really like it alot.. I have the choice of turning it into my career, but it's gonna be a tedious process.. ANd if given a choice, i will still stick to my own choice ^_^

Yes, I am already satisfied Kaezy. I believe I cannot ask for more. My job is rewarding and I am in a very good position. Actually my career is my own choice. Nobody pushed me to do it because my parents are understanding and they do let me choose my own. Well perhaps even given the chance, I will not longer shift to another career.

Actually I'm happy with what I studied but when you ask me about my career now I would say that I'm not happy nor sad about it, it's just that I know that I want something else that would give me fulfillment. I just hope I would get to have that fulfillment soon.
