In what interest leaderboard do you want to belong?

I too want to be in the leader board of "mylot.com". i like helping others. so i am giving responses to those who are in need of some tips or help. I like your responses and i hope you reach the leaderboard today itself. I am giving you a " + " rating to this discussion and hope this also help you reach your goal fast. best of luck.

For me I would like to lead the charge in the "Life" section! Although I am not actually TRYING to get to number one, I seem to be getting myself ever closer regardless! Maybe if I did make it to number one I could call myself an amateur life expert or something?? lol. I appear to be in the top 100 for the "mylot.com' interest section too somehow but I don't recall myself being overly active in this section?

Hey!! Even i want to be in the leaderboard.. I am ranked 16 in mylot very close to you... So i think ill see myself soon in the leaderboard with you... I also want to be a leaderboard of "computers" interest.. as im a computer engineer... But there is a problem... Some of the people who are already there in the leaderboard in mylot interest are not active for past 1 year or so... And still they are there... how is it possible?? So maybe we have to contact mylot... about that and tell mylot to fix this... so that we can reach our goal very fast.. So keep posting....^_^

I've never really given a hought yet to aspiring to be in the leaderboard of any interest so right now I can't tell you in what interest i would choose to aspire to be in the leaderboard. Whatnwould be the benefits of being in the leaderboard? How do you become a member of a leaderboard. Through best responses?Maye it is indeed something to aspire for.

of course, in the laboratory because that's the topic that I can say I have some knowledge of. I actually introduced this category to mylot because it doesn't have it when I joined. So I'm ranked one at the Laboratory Category.

I don't really care. I just post whatever interests me. Which varies by the day. Now for example I am really interested in Olympic and sports. Other days it's politics. Other days its religion or children. I don't really care if I'm on mylot leaderboard or not, although I do get a kick out of being #1 in the Olympics I'll admit it because I'm not a very sports oriented person.

Being on the leader board in any interest is not necessarily a goal of mine, because I tend to enjoy many different interests and to get high in the leader board one had to respond to many more discussions on that topic than on any other. It's interesting however when we can see that we are high on the list. It happens usually without even noticing just because there are some interests that I respond more to. But I can see it is one of your goal so I wish you success - I think you will be able to achieve it soon:)

Funny thing about this is that... i just made it to the leaderboard of the harry potter interest... out of the thousands of members there... and i did not even aim for that... but i would really love to be in the leaderboard of the parenting interest... i am now rank 14... and competition there is quite stiff... so i think it will take me a long time... and lots of discussions to post before i reach that goal... Well, once again, I am clueless as to what someone on myLot is talking about. I have no idea what the leaderboard is. I am going to try to check it out here in a minute. I have no idea if I "belong" to a leaderboard or not. If I did, would I know it? Jeesh, I am forever showing my ignorance on here. Thanks, richiem, for telling us about the leaderboard. haha.. I guess i'm not in any leader board at all, because i dun start much discussions.. lol =D The only way i can be on the elader board and be the number one, is to start a complete new interest that's not in mylot, and i will be the leader in that.. lol =D Reaching it is easy, but maintaining the number one spot is hard, because one can only keep posting in that area of interest in order to keep your status there ^_^

I am not even sure how to get on the leader board. Is it simply ranked by the number of discussions a person starts in that category? I guess then it would be football because I am a huge football fan. It is probably one of the only ones I have a chance at anyway.

Well I'm a leader at the University of the Philippines leaderboard. I just posted a few topics there when I started here and of course since there are only few people there I got immediately on the top leaders of it. Hmm maybe I would like to be in top of a leaderboard wherein there are a lot of discussions that are being responded to.

Hey richiem! I never really payed any attention to the ranking numbers until you brought it up. I just checked mine out. Are you saying that you need to be at least a 12 to be in a leaderboard of an interest? I am 13 in people, life, cooking and mylot. I am 12 in cats. The rest am kind of low. In fact, there are some that I really thought I would be alot higher in like pets and friends. I guess I should start working on those. I don't really know why I'm not higher in mylot. I see other people who are higher than I am who have been here shorter time than I have. So I don't really know how that works. I just do the best I can and try to enjoy what I'm doing and not think about rankings and just post to my friends discussions like I have been doing. I will just let the rest work itself out and hope for the best.

Hey richiem, I know you will achieve your goal, you are almost there, congratulations. I have really never thought about achieving to be on the leaderboard, but now you have put that thought into my head. I am far away from doing that at the moment since I scatter myself around on most topics. However, the main one I go to is Extra Money and I am 100 and something last I looked. Maybe that will be my goal in the next couple of months.

I'm number 4 in questions & answers. I first noticed when I got to number 6, and after that I made an effort to start my new discussions in the Q&A interest. Most discussions start with a question anyway, so it's not difficult. I also think I got there because I'm interested in knowing answers to questions and I often respond to that type of discussion. I don't think I appear in the leaderboard of any other interests. I may make top spot in Q&A one day but I'm not really trying hard to get there.

That is cool my friend that you have been working hard to be in the mylot.com interest leaderboard,and that is awesome that you are now rank eleven,in the interest ,I personally do not care if I am on any of the interest leaderboards or not because I do not feel that it is very important,even though it would be neat to be on one of the leaderboards,keep up the good work and I am sure you will make it soon.
