who has the fear of number 13.

is it really sentimental or religious. I have heard a lot about this number 13. there is a very technical name associated with the phobia of the number thirteen.
Whether you are from USA or India, whether you be a christian, or a Hindu.. there is a lot of fear associated with this number.
WHO amongst us has the worst fear of this number?

i was sceptical about it too in past but now i like it ... i even add one in my nick name ... i like all what other people does not ... and that will, i hope, make me rich, becouse others are not :)

im not at all afraid of the number. i just had noticed the number accidaentally.im from India. i joied in my service on 13th sept 1982. when i recently noticed that the instituition i joined , the foundation stone for the institution was laisd on one 13 th day years back.i am in opinion that these are only superstitions of people around the world.

what a wonderful proof. Friend, Ananda.. you have really given us concrete proof against the superstitions. But, there is a standard rule in medicine. That if the patient informs of a superstition, or a religious belief, we should give it due consideration, while treating.
SO, i consider this superstition to be of value to the believers.
As informed in my other response here, I have a friend who got MONETARY benefit... out of this belief.

I have heard about that. But I don't really fear about that. Because as a religious people, we know that we do the right things and a happines thing will happen to us. but if we do the bad things our life will suffer. For the number maybe is just a heredity myth that cross from one mouth to another mouth and belonging untill now. Do you ever hear 999 as a devil number?

I have recently seen the movie THE OMEN, where the devils number is given as 666. and the same number turned upside down is the number you mentioned .999.
However, Regarding the number 13, I can tell you a friend's personal story. He was negotiating the cost to buy a small piece of PLOT, numbered 13. While all other plots of the same size and style were being sold at 25lakhs Indian rupees, this particular plot was sold at ..
... can you believe, .. just because it is numbered the PLOT 13, it is sold at 18lakhs.
Now, what do you say? lols.

I think I'm not fearful about no 13. But yes I do have certain reservations. I generally tend to avoid no 13.

Hi... I dont fear of it at all. It is just a number nothing to fear of. I heard of some people fear about it. Maybe it is because of Friday the thirteen? Some people said that day is a unlucky day for them. They will meet some unlucky thing that day. But i dont really believe it. Some countries lift also skip the number 13. Very weird. I dont know actually the true story about the unlucky number 13. Happy Myloting!!!
