Bad haircut

I got a haircut today, despite the fact that i had so many 'signs' not to. For one, a weird officemate who never says anything thats makes sense, gave me a compliment about my hair a day ago. We were even joking that i shouldnt cut my hair, because that was the first time he ever gave a compliment. Also, my mom was like shocked when i told her i was getting a haircut. As well as my stylist.
I had my hair rebonded in January, that was my last time at the parlor. A few days ago i thought i've grown tired of my hair. Since because it was rebonded, it don't want to do anything with it, i don't want to tie it up or anything, so as not to mess with the pricey rebond. I even thought of having it curled. Then i felt like i wanna have a shorter look.
My hair is not that long, it just falls few inches below the shoulder. Now its quite short, just on big bone on the top of my ribs. I don't know what it's called.
Anyways, i don't feel as good with it now. I think it would be time consuming fixing it up every morning. It slighty flies away on one side, the very reason why i had my hair rebonded.
And lately i have been into headbands. I bought a couple of those two weeks ago. My new hair doesnt go well with them.
I'm not the type who sulk into things that cannot be changed. What sucks is that I totally ignored the signs thrown at me. Now I have to deal with fixing my hair every morning for a couple of months.
I felt prettier wearing my hair longer.

Maybe you just need time to get used to your new haircut. Sometimes when I first get my hair cut a new way, I have trouble deciding whether I actually like it and also whether I will be able to manage it. Then, after I have had a chance to live with it for a couple of days, and figure out whether I will be able to "do" it, I realize that I do like it and that it was a welcome change. Also, maybe you should wait and see if you get any compliments on your new haircut. If you do, then that will probably help you feel a lot better about it too. Otherwise, just try to remember that a haircut is only temporary and that your hair will grow longer again. Good luck.

No matter what haircut I got, it looks awful within the next few hours. I have curly hair. The hairstylist doesn't even know how to cut them. They will try their best to make it look good before I leave the salon. But once I reach home, my hair will curl here and there. Thinking of rebonding one day. So, for me, it doesn't matter whether I heed the signs or not, I just get bad haircut all the time.
