Does anyone know anything about Gourmet cooking?

I would love to learn gourmet cooking, but all my inquiries lead me to degreed programs. I don't want a degree, I just want to learn to cook some gourmet dishes, or take some gourmet cooking classes, or maybe a good video or book. Has anyone come across any good gourmet cooking classes?

Hi kcr and welcome to myLot the community. You might check with an continuing adult education program at you community college to see if they have any gourmet class. Sometimes they will have the kind of cooking classes that your looking for. You might also check at a specialty food store. If they don't have any classes you might be able to get them to set one up if you can get enough people interested.
