we were talking about being blind and deaf today with my family, being blind has so much effects to your life thats for sure, you cant see where you are going, you have to memorize exactly where everything is,you can not see when you have a child, thats really bad and being deaf you can not hear what they are talking about you,you cant come to an understanding with other people, can not hear the voice of your girlfriend, however for me i would choose being deaf instead of being blind ... what do you think? if you had one of these things which one would it be, being blind or deaf?

i would without a doubt choose to be deaf. while yes being either wouldn't be a good thing, being blind would without a doubt be so much worse as you would never be able to see a single thing. yes there are good sounds to hear and your hearing helps you communicate, if you were blind, so much more would be un revealed to you, and at least if you were deaf you could still read lips. you couldnt drive, watch tv, surf the internet, or do anything else like that if you were blind, and the only thing i could think of if you were deaf would be you couldnt talk on the phone. while yes both of them would be horrible, i would without a doubt choose being deaf, simply because it is the lesser of two bad conditions.

hi, whatever sickness God given to you, it is a challenge for you to surpass. But I know it is not so easy if you have either of that two. However, it would be better if you are deaf. Being def is almost a human life, anyway, there are a lot of technology to help deaf people to have a normal life. But sure God has a plan for every people who does have this kind of challenge.

both be bad really, living in a silent world if deaf but i would choose to be deaf.. we can learn to lip read, sign language, reading.. but if blind, to never see a loved one ever again, or to see how beautiful your child has become, would be so bad.. never to be able to enjoy wonderful sceneries like in turkey hehe.. i couldn't live without my sight.. i think i can live more without hearing child screaming or tantrums haha. Sometimes i wish my neighbors were deaf so i could play my music through the big speakers when i like

I guess if it all came to it between being deaf and blind, I would rather be deaf, I could not handle not being able to see things or even being able to see my first child being born. I could not handle not seeing beautiful things.

Looks like I'm going to break the trend.
I spend a lot of my life reading and writing, but I would rather be blind than deaf. The thought of not being able to listen to music is just unimaginable, but I'd also miss people's voices. When you're upset or scared there's nothing more comforting that hearing a loved one's voice.
Having had sight I could imagine all the colours in the world, but I couldn't live without hearing other people.

Dear friend,
I hope it would be better not to be blind than deaf. Being blind meaning it is lot to depend on others than being deaf and moreover I may not be able to see those better things around and no body may even tell about this site if I am blind. Hope not be blind.

I choose to be a blind rather than deaf. Being a deaf we can travel anywhere we want, it will be similar to normal man life. But being a blind it's difficult to travel everywhere we want and eventhough it is morning it will be like a night, we have to spend our life always in the dark. being a blind we cannot enjoy this beautiful world.
