cold sore....

OUCH! I started to feel a cold sore/fever blister coming on yesterday. I immediately put medicine on it thinking I caught it in time to help. Well I woke up this morning and it is huge. So far I have like 3 different brands/types of medicine and none are working. Any home remedies or other ideas you can give me to help???? I would appreciate suggestions.
