I've always been an advocate of buying cds instead of downloading (legally or illegaly). I like having the copy of the album in my hands and being able to unwrap it as I come out of the record store and stick it in my car cd player. It's always a great feeling to roll down the windows and crank the tunes for the first time.
My most current cd was Life Left to Go by Safetysuit.

My girlfriend is the dvd collector in the house. She's the same way, if she really likes the movie she would rather have a real copy of it. Our media shelf has quite a mix of cds and dvds. We've been trying to budget lately and try not to buy so many but I'm sure we'll need a new shelf soon.

My last CD was Alicia Keyes. I can't always afford to buy the CD and i feel so fortunate to have friends who do and let me barrow them or I use playlist.com.

More and more often these days I opt for listening online over buying. But when I really like a band I try to treat myself. I've been using last.fm quite a lot lately.

Out of all my cds I don't own any Metallica. There's no way I could go 4 years without buying a cd. I don't have enough self control. :-)

That is an awesome CD - I just recently found it. Man, I am so behind in finding them but I saw they were coming to town with Parachute, gave them a listen, and fell in love. They are great! I can't wait (2 weeks!) and I will see them. So, Life Left To Go was my most recent purchase unless you count Owl City's new CD that I bought a friend for Christmas...
