Television or computer??

I have set up my computer , in such a way , that while using computer, I can keep an eye on news headlines...

The computer, definitely. It offers so much more than the television does; with it, you can watch shows and movies, stay in contact with people, check the news and weather, read magazines, listen to music, play games, earn money, etc. The television, on the other hand, has a very narrow range of uses.

I would choose computer without reservation. The information offered through a computer is more stimulating to me than television. Not an avid television watcher, I find that much is lost in translation, if you will, between television and computer. The problem with choosing computer as a primary media means that you miss a lot of what is portrayed on television. Still, I stand strong on my television abstentia and make my preference the computer.

Good question! Well as everyone else voted, definitely a computer, I can control what I deem to be entertainment, whereas with TV "they" choose for you. I like to have little control over my entertainment and the computer makes possible.

Can I choose both? LOL, ok ok ok! I will choose the computer because in it I can have anything the tv has and much more!

If I had to choose between a computer and a tv I would rather have the computer, because you can do lots on the computer as well as watch tv.

even i would hands down choose computer over television. television has a very few entertainment options with the same old boring stuff going on and on. whereas compute open a whole new world of entertainment and knowledge. plus you have a varied option of what to see, surf or listen to in computers.

Well.. nowadays there are a lot of programs that allow you to watch TV on computers. And if you have a good LCD screen, you can connect your tv antenna to your LCD to watch the local channels. For me its computer!
