Is your AVG 8.0 bin file missing?

Hello! I love AVG 8.0 & as I see on here & on the internet that AVG 8.0 (free & paid editions) have an error that AVG is working on. Somehow the bin files that hold the definitions are corrupt and show that that it's missing on the program. At first I thought it was a virus, but I DO NOT download hardly anything except software from download.com & music...so I typed about the AVG bin file missing in the internet search & I found a lot of information about it. AVG has been working on it for about 24 hours or so (and there isn't a solution yet)...so some users have created a good solution that actually works, yea Here is the solution: 1) Make a folder on your desktop (AVG Bin or something like that) 2) http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download-update Go to the Grisoft website & download the two bin files: AVI: 270.6.4 & IAVI:/ 1616 3) Open the AVG control Panel, click Tools. Then Update From Directory & select the files that were just downloaded from the Grisoft website. 4) The program will read the bin files & stop about a forth of the way through & you have to select the Update button. You can ignore the warning about not using these files in the AVG 8.0 free as they work fine. Thanks to everyone on PCMech Boards & binarydreams for posting this work around.
