Do you agree that people spends too much time thinking what to wear and look?

Yesterday while we were dressing before going to the church, my son was running back telling me he needs to change his clothes since it doesn't look good on him. He prepared those clothes the day before yesterday and he seems not satisfied about how he look in those clothes. My mother also was looking for some belt to match her dress. We ended up late for the church service yesterday. Hayzzzz... Does people really takes too much time on thinking what to wear and look? How do you prepare the clothes you're going to wear? Is it before the day or on the day you are going on some appointment?

i thoroughly agree that people spend way to much effort on their outward appearance. i just wear whatever is comfortable, and appropriate for the occasion. the only thing i ever really worry about my clothes is to make sure they don't hideously clash(green cargos w/ a bright red shirt does NOT work). i think the only time i put than a few minutes effort into what i wear is if i'm going to a professional setting. our society as a whole needs to put less emphasis on what they wear, and more on who they are. people worry to much about how they look, when really, that isn't what makes the deepest impact on how people see you. its how you act and who you are that makes the biggest difference.

I agree with you too that its suppose to be what's inside a person that matters and not the clothes he wear. But if you can be both a dresser (proper dress for proper occassion/place) and at the same time someone with a great intellect, who could not resist you.

Hi, i try to prepare them the day before, (I have two kids, if i dont we will be late for sure). I agree that people sometimes worry too much about how they look, so they take a long time, sometimes they just cant decide what to wear, it happens to me sometimes.

When my son was in grade school, I used to do that way. But now that he's a bit grown up and has his own room, he does his thing on his own. He now knows what to wear and what to bring in school.

I try my best to be prepared for a special event thats going to happen or whatever. Sometimes do it a week ahead but I always wear and put on the cloths to see how I look. I have to admit that people caring how they look is very important some people judge others by the way they dress and give them labels and stuff which isn't cool. SO Yes people are going to take there time and make sure something looks good or right on them even if that means being a little late ha ha. So yeah take care and keep posting Happy Mylotting...
