I'm Curious! Are You My Friend?

Hi Rosekitty, I'm here, I am your friend even if I can't always answer in a particular discussion I do try but sometimes so busy playing catch up it takes me a while to get there. The best nigh out (in) I had was in one of your discussions but then I had to go to bed (gone 3am by that time cos of time difference) and had to be a party pooper. I love you for your sense of fun, honesty and for being there for me when I have neded support as well as the fun discussions. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hythere. I know we are on each other's lists, but to be quite honest I don't remember who or why.....Nothing personal, just don't remember if I requested you or if it was the other way around. It takes a lot for me to request someone, so if it was that way, you must have showed yourself in the same discussions as me and you must have said something extremely funny or thought provoking. Otherwise, if you requested me I just checked to make sure our paths crossed at some point, and we had some similar interests and friends. So on the flip side...if you requested me...what was it that attracted you???

I think We could be friend. I think I added you as a friend right after I joined. You were one of my first. THANKS. We talk quit a bit. You give good advice. That helps. PLUS WE"RE BOTH PRETTY ...........;-)) You need a friend like that to hang out with. Right.? ;-)

yup sure i would happily be ur friend as i believe in good friends and i would gladly be ur frd always. ther is no reason for any one to feel tat he or she is not ur frd as all in this world believe in the good friendship so i wpuld advocate it and don ever think u r alone.

i like your post rosekitty. you know how people are. when they get use to something, it's so hard for them to try something different. but i love different, and i embrace change. there is nothing wrong with switching it up every now and then. and i am glad you choose to do so. i want to be your friend cause you take chances and don't really care what others say

The term "friend" on mylot was not introduced for the purpose of being friends. Many people have become friends because of it. But its main purpose was to establish a link with people interested to answer your questions. That is what I use it for. As I cannot recall you ever answering my questions... I'll put your question back at you... Why do you want to be my friend?

I like to have you on my friends list because your discussions are usually interesting or funny. I make it a policy to support my friends here unless I really have nothing to say!

I just eliminate people from my list that don't want to contribute but I have some on my list that I keep because I do realize people have lives outside of mylot and they cant spend all their time keeping track of my conversations but they always seem to pop up and contribute and its a pleasant suprise, I make it a point to go through my friends list and contribute to all my 'friends' conversations, at least one or two of them, and I do this once a week. I know I go through moods where I just have a couple minutes and will avoid conversations that are more in-depth but I like talking about more in-depth things in my conversations but that is not always what people are interested in so Im trying to change my style a little, all i can do, my lot is still fun.

I am already your friend, and would like to be so for ever, and it doesn't matter whether you respond to my discussions or not because i have high regards for you. You are one of my earliest friends who have encouraged me and consoled me when i was little bit despondent and shaky here at mylot in earlier stages.I too have responded a few of your discussions, just only a few, which were within my comprehension. Many of your discussions, though i wanted to respond, were incomprehensible and could not be responded to by me either because of high language, different interest, culture or some other reasons. This has been the case with many of my overseas mylot friends also and i hope they also understand my failure to respond to many of their discussions in right spirit, as your goodself! Only 2 or 3 per cent of my friends normally respond to my discussions and i don't feel it any way nowadays, because what applies to me naturally apply to them also! Am I right? But honestly i have to say one thing and that is that when i initiate a high quality discussion anytime here, i am not able to get many responses and i wonder! Not to offend anyone's feelings. It is now up to you to decide whether i am your friend or not!
