Even though I have a disability it doesn't strike me as that hard to deal with, at least not as much as most people would think. Sometimes I have secondary conditions due to my Cerebral Palsy and the medicines I need to take to manage it but mostly I do okay. The things I have a hard time with are that the world is not becoming accessible fast enough for me to do all the things I want to do. For example, I still can't take my wheelchair on a plane and they treat it like common luggage. Don't think we could have progressed from that by now? I also hate being allergic to hard plastic which I am severely. I have to carry around an epinephrine pen and can't have many of my favorite things like tic tacs. I used to be really addicted to orange tic tacs before I became allergic. It's weird what you miss. The third thing, and the most difficult thing to deal with, is the fact that my friends die regularly often because of their disabilities and sometimes because of poor care. That's the hardest thing to deal with.

I think the changes in life as you go along sometimes is hard, like when certain things in life happen sometimes it changes your whole way of living, as an example when my father passed away my life was turned upside down, having to look after my mother with alzheimers, then what she passed away, my life took a different turn altogther, so I only had my friends to depend on, then my very special man passed away and later my best friend, I seem to have gone through years of losing people and each time it put me on a different life path...but this is something that happens to us all...

Right now, it's a combination of finances/family/school. I start college on the 25th. My husband dosen't make a lot of money and we have a one year old. It's difficult.
