i do hope i spelled it right. im scared to death here in Florida. right now its pouring the rain. i hope not to be in a hurricane. they been talking about it for days and im alone with my little dog and so scared. i really wish now i'd waited to get a house/mobile home until i got to ohio. i started buying a mobile home here, cause thats all i could find in my financial category. if i live through this om moving one way or another.

oh ydb, im saying a prayer for you and yours for the next week. they are saying Gustav is headed that way next week possibley.

Ups and down are always coming in every person's life. But the right person is that who faces and accepts the challenges and overcomes them easily. The storms and hurricanes are of time being but they sure do leave an impact behind. God be with you and you also must be a little careful. Afterall, you have that Super Man with you to take care of you, your little dog then are you scared or terrified.

Calm down 
One thing you should have known about before moving was hurricane season. Every year the US is going to get hit by a TS and/or hurricane. Florida is always a prime target. I have lived through enough of them to know that 98% of the time they talk about the storm for weeks, get everyone in a tizzy, then very little happens.
Where are you from?
I lived in Iowa for almost 2 years and tornado season there always scared me more than hurricane season. Even after Katrina you couldn't pay me enough to move back to IA to deal with Tornadoes (not to mention snow storms, yuck).

im from ohio and even after the tizzy is over here with hurricanes now their saying tornados cased by high winds and tropical storms!!

It's not raining here yet but it did look real nasty out earlier and rained a little then... i am hoping we don't get anything but a little rain from this hurricane.
I hate hurricanes, hate, hate, hate! i don't wanna be without power again 
no power means no A.C 
and no hot showers.
It's suppose to start hitting us tomorrow but lets just hope nothing bad happens from it! and I hope you and your dog will okay and stay safe!

earlier tonight they said it could be heading inland around highlands county where i live. my daughter said its just a watch, not a warning. shes taking me over to her place tomorrow if its a sure thing. turns to a warning that is.
