Where the heck?

I'm sure some of you are saying - Where the heck is Elic coming up with all these old discussions?
Well, I've found this game on pogo that I've been playing since June. I was up to over 700 emails when I decided I really needed to get my numbers down.
Since I tend to work from newest to oldest, I'm now getting to stuff a month or more old. So, if you are suddenly finding discussions coming back from the dead, that would be me working to get my email numbers down. I'm almost to 300!
I hope nobody minds, I failed to make payout last month, I was playing my game, but I will this month - and I hope to have my discussions caught up with!

I get e mail notifications for myLot, and for another site, and my inbox is always very full. I am going to give up and delete some of the older stuff, I just cannot get there. That also does not count the tons of forwards my dad sends, that I delete, because they tend to mess up my computer. Then there are the sites where I have listed to be an independent contractor, that I think I will delete. Oh, and the shopping sites. I have actually had discussions more than a year old come back up when new people join.

700 is a lot, you must have lots of friends. I have a fair number. They seem to be very prolific, like write several discussions a day. I write three every so often.
I have to work hard when I go over 100. Many I can't answer because I have no clue because they are talking about a singer in India or something political in Poland or something. 700, Wow! You have been working hard. Thanks for helping me out, I had many discussions with no responses. Many of my friends just write questions and seldom answer my discussions any more. They respond to me find when I respond to their discussion, but they seldom or don't answer mine any more.
Down to almost 300, Wow! You've been very, very busy. Good luck and hope to hear from you soon, but I will be going to bed soon. I'm tired.

I do have quite a few friends, and I have been trying to do some every day. I have a new policy - when I go to intermission, I look at an email from mylot. I may not respond to it, but if I think I will, I keep it as new and go back to the game.
I do 5000 tokens and then I do mylot for a while.
In fact, today I did around 100 mylot emails - lots of digests even! Those I've let back up the worst.

@porwest Some do, some don't... not me personally, though. That's why it takes me so long to reach payout.

I started out just playing free on there also then got hooked on playing for badges after someone give me a free pass to try it and have been paying ever since. The jigsaw treasure is a newer puzzle game. I think the one you might be thinking of is jigsaw detective. The newer one is so much better to me and the pictures are so pretty.

I think that's precisely why I don't dare join up any on-line games for fear of getting addicted to them and not doing anything else..LOL Okay no problem if you dig up some of my old discussions. I have to admit from time to time someone else will dig up an old discussion that is like a year old....

You can make friends various ways. I will, for example, go to topis of interest to me and respond to discussions. then, if I liked the discussion, I will go check the person who started it. If I like what I see then, I will make a friendship request.
Another way is to go thru some of your friends lists of friends, find some and request their friendship.
Now, if the name is early on the list and the number is low, that person may not be real active and might not be worth making one.
Be sure that your notifications are turned on so you know when one of your friends starts a discussion.

I never have my notifications sent to my email, so after 7 days, if I don't get to them, they're gone. BUT, I DO constantly troll older discussions. It's a LOT of fun to find them and find people still active and breathe a little new life into something very old. Onward and upward as I so often like to say.

Elic I work from oldest to newest. Sometimes that is not good but sometimes that is good. I do not hear the answers to the questions before I should. heehee.
I to go behind and had almost 200 email discussions in my gmail box. I am slowly working my numbers down. I am down below 100 now. In gmail if if someone adds several discussions close to the same time then they added them as one email so some people have 6 or more emails in one slot. I have to make sure I look at all of them before going on to the next email.
