menopause, night sweats, & hot flashes

I've been going through menopause for at least a year now. Wondering how long I will have the night sweats & hot flashes??? I swear I feel like I have an inferno inside me. I sweat like crazy and just feel soo hot. I suppose I should look into a natural supplement or something to help me with this.
What do you all do for this?
